Fine. Opinions critiquing the front office arent ok.

    Got it.

    Sip that kool aid.
criticism is fine, but ing about bad picks and not being able to give any better names is sad.

    And NO

you dont have some superior insight into how to run an NBA team. I think RC might have had something to do with 4 les in 9 years.

I never said I did. Link to where I did say that?

Once again, twisting my words and making up bull .

Derrick Byars BTW, is twice what this Marcus punk is, TIMVP agrees.

But nope. Lets draft brazilian centers who are soft and have Nesterovic like capabilities.

We will have to agree to disagree.

Chucky Atkins is a career stiff, and point guards in the deepest draft since 03, aren't better than Beno Udrih?
As I said, I can't say for sure.

I'm pretty sure none of them will average 13 and 5 the way Atkins did last year, or drop 11 points on the Spurs in 10 minutes for that matter.

If Green was really that good, you'd figure he wold have been taken sooner than #52.

TPark, you are such a stupid . Spurs were clearing cap space. Barbosa was a big question mark just like the players you are dissing tonight. Spurs signed Finley, Horry, Vaughn, etc. and won 2 more championships while you were still beating off to naked brazilian basketball player fantasys. Did Barbosa make it in the NBA? yeah. did he get his ass kicked by the Spurs team every year? Lets have another yeah,
    More personal attacks. Not shocking.

Boy that clearing cap space sure brought in a stud back up point.

So your telling me that Barbosa wouldn't be a good backup point on this team?

Yup, the with those 6th men of the year, who needs em.

Why are we assuming the Spurs would have taken Barbosa? We picked him for Phoenix.

How do these myths not die?

    Get off Barbosa already.

    Ahem,

Um, this is how it happened.

The Spurs and Suns made a deal. Much how the Blazers did with many teams tonight. Now, since the deal wasn't made for the deadline, it was called a trade proposal. Basically the same thing as Jeff Green being drafted by the Celtics for the Sonics. We agreed to trade the rights to the player Phoenix wanted us to draft, and that was Barbosa.

Seriously, do you know anything about basketball?

Rasho put over 20 points a game on David Robinson.

Was that reason enough to make him the one to succeed david?

That at ude led to signing Elson over a Reggie Evans.

I kinda agree with T park

the spurs lucked out with ginobili and now just keep trying recreate that luck, it isn't going to happen, everyone scouts the world now, not just the spurs.

the front office hasn't made ONE SINGLE PROACTIVE MOVE since Duncan got here. they lucked out with Manu, and drafted one good PG in Parker out of the 9 (now 10) first round picks that have come since Duncans draft.
any team can get one good player out of 9 late first round picks, thats par for the course.

Its time to stop relying on luck and go out and GET someone to ensure a repeat.
If a better managed team had Duncan fall into their lap, they would have won more than 4 rings by now.
If a guy like Cuban landed Duncan, I'd be a big upset every year that they DIDN'T win a ring
