TORONTO (Ticker) - The Toronto Raptors on Wednesday signed center Ken Johnson, who played in just 16 games with the Miami Heat last season.

Terms were not disclosed.

Johnson, 25, made an impression on the Raptors when he recorded eight points and 10 rebounds against them in an April 15 game at Toronto. He averaged 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 9.8 minutes.

The 6-10 Johnson played in the Continental Basketball Association during the 2001-02 season and averaged 7.1 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 37 games with the Dakota Wizards.

A two-time Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year at Ohio State, Johnson ranks fourth in NCAA history with 444 blocked shots.
