Baseball needs a salary cap

It's beginning to look like a joke. When the Yankees can practically field an allstar at every position and can get whatever pitcher they want and the Kansas City Royals have no hope of keeping even one franchise player, baseball is broken.

In the long run, it's bad for the game. How must it feel to be a fan of a small market team? You know that your team has a very small chance of even having a winning record, while you know that the Yankees are almost guaranteed a playoff berth every single year.

That's going to hurt baseball in the end.

I totally agree. Its all on Commish. Bud Selig. He needs to step up and get a strict slary cap in place.
