    I don't understand why he can't get some playing time. He couldn't do worse than Finley (who always starts slow) right now. Throw him out there and if he really screws up bring in someone else.

    Manu Ginobili had 18 points as the Spurs went into halftime with a 52-52 tie with the Grizzlies on Wednesday in Memphis.

    Ginobili scored 13 points in the second quarter.

    Tony Parker had 13 points in the first half and Tim Duncan had 11.

    FIRST QUARTER

    Spanish 7-footer Pau Gasol had eight points in the first quarter including the last basket of the period to lead the Grizzlies to a 26-23 lead over the Spurs on Wednesday in Memphis.

    Tony Parker and Tim Duncan scored six points each as the Spurs and Grizzlies were tied 12-12 at the first timeout. Darko Milicic and Gasol combined for 10 of the Grizzlies' first 12 points.
