Am I the only one actually enjoying this?

We suffered a blowout against Houston last year, this team (spurs) would have something to work on. This is the start of the regular season. By February we'll beat this team with precision passes and chemistry like you've never seen before you just wait.
You know, I realize the Spurs have been an immensely successful team and have a nice shot at winning another le this year, but it's pretty hilarious that you're claiming an asskicking by Houston would somehow be a good thing.

    That was so ugly

Duncan got smothered. So I hope they adjust the game plan at halftime. Manu seems to still be getting through the defenses.

Offensive rebounds: Rockets 14, Spurs 2

As a result, the Rockets have attempted 12 more FGA but only 2 less FTA. They're not shooting too much better than us, but we're giving them far too many second chances. Bonzi as usual is killing us with his rebounding.

An early loss can get them focused. I just wish it wouldn't be to the Rockets.

Eh, well. It has to happen sooner or later. Still would like to see them respond with a much better second half, because, damn, that was ing awful.

The good thing is we've limited McGrady to 9 points on 3-of-10 shooting. Yao is only 6-of-14.

It's the rest of these no-names that are hitting wide open jumpers. No big deal.

With McGrady and Yao 9-of-24 from the field in the first half, we're playing good defense. We just need to make our own shots. I'm not really impressed by Houston...the Spurs will win by 20 points.

I think its time for you to go to the eye doctor. Wells didn't even touch Manu and he fell.

    1. It's not just Manu, neither Elson nor Barry were able to block out or cover Bonzi Wells, and that's not breaking news to Pop. Why Udoka isn't out there is curious.

    2. Duncan's been handled pretty easily tonight. And not just by Yao. Even Scola, supposedly the worst defender of all time, more than held his own and kept Duncan in check.

All you whiner Spurs fans that are whining about the Housten announcers whining need to shut up, because some Spurs fans can't even watch them and I'm stuck with Bill Schoening's play by play. Now I'm whining.
Yeah, but you haven't heard these two guys.

If you didn't know any better, you'd think Manu was dropping babies out 10th story windows, Duncan was responsible for 9/11, and Tony is the reason we lost the Battle of the Alamo back in the day.

Eh you cant win em all. Spurs will go 4-1 tomorrow against Miami. Tough loss but Houston is a solid team. I am going out for a long jog. Be back in 90 minutes to watch this message board go nuts over this game and revert to happiness in less than 24 hours from now. Glad NBA is back! Props to the Rockets on handing the Spurs their first loss of the year!

You are aware that there are TWO halves in basketball right?? If you think the Spurs will start the second half that flat you are crazy!

LOL this post is laughable. It means that the rest of the Rockets are opening up on the Spurs which is not good. That means balanced scoring and you don't know where the shot is going to come from.

Time to bring in Udoka. He's got more muscle on him than Manu. Put him on Bonzi.

I was horrified at the mall today.

We sell Spurs giftcards as well as Texas Longhorn and Aggie cards.

According to the new signage we were sent, we were going to be selling Mavericks cards as well.

I said flat out that I would not sell the cards.
Thankfully, we won't be offering them. We were sent the wrong signs.

Just the thought of promoting anything Maverick.
I told them that MFFL stand for Many Failures Forever Losers.
