he is to bussy think manu can do no wrong
the score does not do justice to what happened tonight
he is to bussy think manu can do no wrong
Manu has carried the team in two of these first four games.
I think Adelman knows how to exploit us with Bonzi. I don't remember Bonzi being this effective against us last year.
Manu was a boss tonight. The rest of the team needs to pick it up and pull it together.
how many other games does he face manu?
Parker was a lot worse than his stats show. He's obviously rusty from not playing much in training camp or preseason.
why does wellls only go off on spurs but no other teams?
who u calling a kid
If only one other person had the balls Manu had we would've won by at least 9.
Yeah. When the Rockets two-headed ass announcers said (I paraphrase) "I think Wells plays up against the Spurs because he's a compe or", it killed me because someone who doesn't compete all the time is like the exact opposite of a compe or.Strange how Bonzi doesn't have these games more often against other teams.
He always has been an awesome rebounder and devastating underneath, but come on. He has a strength advantage against 90% of the players hes matched up with, and has always had good instincts underneath the hoop. Why not more of this against other teams?
U sound like my older brother Mike...one of 5 Spur fan brothers
Manu is too light in the butt to keep Bonzi off the glass.
good news for spur front office scola sucked tonight against spurs
No, Manu was standing on the low block. Finley was above him in the lane, and McGrady stepped around Finley for the rebound.
Shouldn't you be beating off to your Tony Parker poster or something?
Yeah, Bonzi is a compe or! Also, the Spurs bought off the entire officiating crew. And they are responsible for unrest in the Middle East. Oh, right, and global warming.
Bonzi can go off on anybody if his head is in the game. He holds the Blazers all-time playoff single game scoring record. I think it was mid-40's against the Mavs. The problem with Bonzi is that he doesn't come to play every night.
rewatch the tape
Pop is going to love what he gets to do about this one. This is the game he's been waiting for, it's just usually it happens in the 2nd game of the season and not the 4th. I'm surprised he played Udoka at all since he didn't see the court through 3 quarters, but that is about the only thing I was surprised with tonight. Well, that and the fact that Duncan just didn't care about this game whatsoever. I wonder if these early season games are mentally just getting tougher for him to get up for?
has not the last 2 years
You know Duncan will have some bad games like tonight but when that happens he usually takes it on the next team. I expect a monster game from Duncan tomorrow night despite it being the 2nd of a b-2-b.
The dunk was not all that. Yao threw the ball away while under the basket and barely got off the ground (not that he can get very high off the ground anyway).
Good game tonight. I don't expect Duncan to shoot so poorly, but then again I don't expect T-Mac to shoot that poorly either. I was pleased to see us extend the lead with T-Mac on the pine, and just to get some bench production in general (something we really didn't have next season). Between us, y'all and Dallas it seems like it will be a fun battle for the division crown.
Oh, and I'm assuming all the pains of letting Scola go are now gone after his early games?
