It was just one of those games...everything was falling for the Mavs, and the Spurs couldn't buy a basket. Things will be different in June, book it!![]()
Regardless of the loss it was awesome seeing Manu kicking ass.

So what are you doing here? Maybe because you are as ridiculous as we are if you are wasting your time with us
4 Spurs starters totaled 12 points,
that's chicken ,
that's letting yourself be intimidated.
If Tim hadn't gotten hurt I'm sure Pop would have kept them in, unless they were still down by 12 at the 1 :30 minute mark.
But the game was still anyone's game!
I guess because it's November he didn't care. Can't argue with that.
Mavs hold homecourt in November and clearly were out to make a statement. Spurs acted like they were in Charlotte in the 1st quarter.
Well we couldn't have played worse. I think that's a tad bit comforting.
I was hoping for an OT like match like those Lakers-Spurs games in November. He would have had a Triple double!
ing Refs had to interfere in the first half!![]()

AJ may have picked up some tips from Pop but he seems to have borrowed some of his style from BHill. Reg season wins are nice and all...
dirk only had about 16 points, so obviously he could do better.
while that 63% shooting was cuz of sloppy defense by the spurs and cuz bowen and finley did absolutly nothing out there
bottom line is parker was stopped, so the spurs were stopped
Riiiight.
Are you kidding? I like you guys...I like this board. I just think that idea is BS. Everytime the Mavs win big or relatively big, we're padding the stats and we're not classy because we didn't take the starters out early enough to suit you. If we lose big, it's because we suck and the spurs didn't take their guys out because you were assuring the win. It's bull . Whatever, it's just my opinion. I don't think I was talking or anything...don't really know why I deserved that reaction.
I think he meant that the way things were going we should have been down 30.
And on another note...would you rather me voice my opinion on something small like that and come on here giving nothing but respect for your team or would you rather I come on and say 'MAVS RULE, YOU GUYS SUCK, BLAH BLAH BLAH NOVEMBER MEANS EVERYTHING' like some of the other Mavs tools, eh?
This loss is nothing to be ashamed of. Come on now! We all knew the Mavs are perhaps the only team that match up well against us, a November loss to this team is to be expected. Plus they shot the lights out! which is probably why we looked like we were shooting in the dark.
Good game Mavswe will meet again
Where was the 63%? The box says 52%...???
The Mavs made a lot of contested shots. I wouldn't expect that to always be the case.
“When nothing seems to help, I go look at a stonecutter hammering away at his rock perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow it will split in two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before.”
Good night![]()
Don't count on it lol.
in the end, there was no big difference in FT, rebounds, TO, assists, steals, blocks, yadda yadda yadda. the difference was that our execution wasnt as good as theirs. they made shots against our bad D and we struggled to hit anything against them- 12.1% FG difference, and we actually took more shots.
this is why the defence is the most important element in a winning team.
Jesus, JUST GET THE OVER THE MANU vs TONY BULL !! Not only is it a ing pain in the ass, it makes you look like an ass yourself.
I'd be worried, but those 4 trophies didn't come in November.
Dude, parker stopped means nothing if other players step up - it didn't happen tonight as many took the night off. I don't know about parker being stopped, i think he wasn't even there to start with.
What game were you watching?![]()
The Mavs were wide open everytime a Spur player tried to trap only to get lost in traffic.
Not gonna read 38 pages, but I assume someone has mentioned how god awful Finley has been lately.
For a guy that is at a point in his career where shooting is just about the only thing he does, to shoot barely 30% from the field is pretty rediculous.
What's worse is that it's clear Udoka still does not feel comfortable in the Spurs system on offense or defense. I didn't think I'd be saying this, but there is some serious depth concern on the wings right now.
Can the Spurs keep starting Fin?
