Nice to see Duncan look more aggressive and not force the issue when double teamed. Not sure what the elbow pad is about but it didn't seem to bother him and had some nice throwdowns.
Manu (despite the early turnovers) continues to dominate. The shots and nifty moves are nice but it's really sweet to watch him set up teammates.
Not sure what's up with Parker although he hit some clutch shots late in the game. He looks tired and a step slow at times.
Good to see Fin hit his shots and look confident. Also didn't force shots and had some nice passing that resulted in 5 assists.
Bonner and Vaughn did nothing for me. I really wish DW would get a chance and that Horry is close to returning.
Barry continues to hit the 3 and move well without the ball.
Bowen looked pretty good on Wells. It was just nice to see him kill us.
Elson looked pretty bad especially when the guards were laying it up over him. Oberto did a nice job on Yao.
that was just a product of everyone trying to keep yao from scoring, they'd let scola score that much any day of the week if it means keeping yao from making an impact

Man, I wanted to throw down some rocket fans tonight!
A whole obnoxious mess of them came to the game tonight and were seated in section 200 near the Terrace Restaurant.
They didn't shush up the whole game, which I guess I could give them props for.
But I won't.
For once I was sorry I work at the arena since I wanted to tell them something but am not allowed to.
However, some Spurs fans and I got into a chanting match with the rocket fans in the parking lot.
Good times.
Another thing, I noticed for the first time tonight that Bonner has his own section now like Finley has Finley's fanatics and Horry has Horry's hang out etc.
Bonner's section is called " Bonner's wicked awesome section."
Also, I passed Pop twice in the car as I was exiting the arena and getting on to 1-35.
I really, really enjoyed and needed this win by the guys.
The victory was a great way to end what has been a long, hard week.
That final block by Duncan on Yao was sick!!!!!!!! Super sweet.
Our big three all came through for us in different ways.
And how about Finley. He was awesome!
Scola's production for the night offset the points they lost on tmac sitting out. You think he's gonna have that many touches with tmac playing - i dont think so. Rox actually got lucky tonight w/o tmac..10/11 fg is better than the 46% fg tmac brings. Well, if Mcgrady played then the team's defense would be focused on him and Bonzi prolly had monster game again tonight.

I do not say the Rox are better off without Tmac and his gunning but now with Adleman you see way more Rox involved in the O.

Hmm.... no it wasn't. You make it sound like he was left alone out there just so that Yao could be doubled, like it happened with Oberto vs the Suns last year. This was nothing like it. Most of the looks he got came by virtue of his own moves, others were the Js that eventually you get on any given game. A couple of the jumpers he took could have been better contested, but probably that would have led to him having more room to operate in the low post... and trust me, you don't want that.
If he plays 30 minutes consistently, you can expect him to get that many looks if not more. And sure, he can't be expected to shoot 90%+ from the field on a regular basis, but give them the same looks time after time, and more often than not he'll make you pay for it. Whomever has ever watched him play would know that. He's been doing his thing for going on a decade now.
