Pop's going to smallball now. Basically the Spurs' only good defensive big not named Duncan is on the bench in a suit. Bonner, Elson, Oberto all suck ass on defense.

Bloody . In a game where Yao JUST made his second shot, where Bonzi has been neutralized, where TMac isn't even playing, and where Tim Duncan had 14 in the first quarter - there is no ing reason we shouldn't be up 6-10 points now.
They have got to get a handle on this . It's annoying to watch. I don't expect them to win every game and I get that it's November, but it's frustrating to watch.

bonner hasn't proven to be consistent so if he's sucking now, dont be so surprised....
Spurs have turned into a slopfest.
His offense seems there, so I don't think it's indicative of a fluke game.
Scola can only get better I think, as he gets more comfortable with his team and the NBA...

Scola is showing why so many of us wanted him on the Spurs:
his jumper, his savvy post scoring, his moving without the ball, his Argentine flop defense helping to cover his other defensive deficiencies . . .
AND he doesn't have butterfingers leading him to throw away easy baskets off passes under the basket like Bonner or Elson or Nazr or Malik etc etc

as i've been saying we lack a lot of balls tonight - no defense whatsoever, they are shooting 55%, when did we leave a team shooting like that?

Parker might be showing the effects of being overused D'Antoni style this season.
