Not true; he could be a decent tight end or fullback.

    Congrats on the meaningless award.

Too bad you led your team to 3 losses and have no chance at the real prize.

Instead you got public recognition on national T.V. for a single award, all the college tail you could ever have time for, and most likely a shot in the NFL and a chance to make millions of dollars.

    Sucks for you Tebow.

    Praise Jesus.

Contrats to Tebow and Gator nation.

I wonder what Jesus Christ thinks of his acceptance speech. Probably that Tebow needs to get off his a little.

    2. Family
    3. Academics
    4. Football

His priorities are way out of line. That list better change to -

    1. Money
    2. Football
    3. Hookers

or he'll never make it in the NFL.

Tebow is badass. The Heisman is a stupid popularity contest, but this year they got it right.

You got it wrong. With all the talent Florida has hoarded together, that blue chip backup frosh QB (Newton, I think?!?!) would have led them to a bowl.

Maybe they'd be on the blue turf in Boise, but there's no way the Gators - the year after winning the le - would go 5-7.

you guys are str8 up re ed.

Nothing wrong with losing 3 games in the SEC. losing just 2 games got an SEC team in the NC game.

Dude put up monster numbers and has a very good chance of being a darn good player in the NFL.

Florida had a lousy defense this year. Not sure how that's Tebow's fault.

The whole argument that a player can't be great unless his team goes 13-0 is beyond ridiculously flawed anyway. That's the kind of bad thinking that results in Gino Toretta winning the Heisman.
