    (Updated 10 Jan)

Looking at Suns & Spurs JAN 05 schedules, do you think the Spurs have chance to take over WC 1st place by the end of Jan?

As of today, SA with 7 losses, and PHX with 4 losses.

Assuming SA beats PHX, that makes is SA/7L and PHX/5L, a 2-game difference to be made up in January.

I think it's quite possible than Spurs grab the lead by 31 Jan, but PHX has been playing more consistently. In any case, I expect SA and PHX to be within 1 or 2 games of each other by end of Jan.

assuming SA can't catch up PHX, Pops won't coach the All-Star? I'd be very disappointed. I want Pops to coach, it's about time.
