Nice!!!
If this happens I will $#1t a chicken.
Nice!!!
I'm glad the Spurs didn't roll over after that crappy first half. That's the most I can take from this game.
As much as I love to see the Spurs lose, I know it doesn't mean anything. They could be getting blown out every night but still round into shape by March, and then blaze into the playoffs playing their best ball.
ing Pop.
Could we have resigned Jax with out screwing the Manu plan in 2005? I'm pretty sure we could have since Jax was a free agent from Atlanta and the Spurs could have signed him instead Barry. My first choice was Jax second Nocionni third Barry. Well Pop went with Barry. All the Spurs had to do was offer him the full midlevel exception and I'm sure he would have been onboard, if not at least they would have tried and then moved onto Barry or Nocioni.
Baron Davis took Udoka to school...
he's not ready yet to shine Bowen's boots.
Oh, and those "and 1s", two of them against Bowen in the fourth during Davis's 12pt run, were bull . Bowen didn't touch him, he leaned his shoulder in and grazed Bowen's stomach both times.
Anyway, great game, Warriors deserved to win, time for us to do some soul-searching and find the D that makes this team tick, becuase right now they couldn't be further from it.
Rodeo Road Trip...makes or breaks. The Team really pulls together after those 2weeks away. I will not freak out over the losses that occur now...just the ones after FEB.

Bowen didn't necessarily do any better against him. Baron was just sick tonight. Tough guard for anyone.
Nice backhanded compliment!
Maybe you should defect...![]()
GS has got to be one of the best 4th quarter teams in the league. I have never seen a team produce so many 4th quarter comeback wins in my life. If they are playing at home and the game is even reasonably close you can almost guarantee a Warrior victory. It's insane.
They seem to have a knack for hitting those timely 3pt shots.
Our D has been stellar as of late, it's our offense that was killing us. Tonight the problem was reversed.
He needed a double team, and not the one that left a Jax open. Udoka can't stop Davis, he could have done whatever he wanted.
It doesn't help when you leave them wide open, again and again, and again.
poor calls went both ways, what about when oberto blatantly fouled baron's arm and no call was made
blaming the refs in any way for this is lame
tim going for a steal on jackson and moving away from the basket while jackson pivoted and made a baby layup is the type of defense that caused us to lose
not baron davis getting a whistle
udoka fouling baron davis like he's wearing pink panties instead of fouling him harder so he gets 2 regular free throws is what caused us to lose
manu leaving jackson so wide open that he was allowed to smoke an entire blunt before taking the shot is what caused us to lose
not the refs
I really hope that threat to Norcal comes through. The day SpursTalk was saved! 1/8/2008
It's because Stephen Jackson makes love to pressure.
I cannot wait to read timvp's thoughts on this one. What a game!
neither davis nor jackson are good shooters, but when the pressure's on, they kill you, especially in oakland where they have that great crowd behind them.
I think he's in the other room re-watching the ending![]()
Baron had a great game tonight. Enough said about that. Baron was clutch.
Correct except it was 2004.
exactly... this is spurs 07-08 basketball so far. the refs don't lose games for you but the warriors were getting all the ticky tack fouls the spurs weren't..
Manu was so mad at the end of game he needs to beat himself up tonight over his defensive lapses, bottle that up and unleash his fury on the Pistons on Thursday.
