    embarrassing? it's just a loss.

losing to the 8th seed in the first round? that is embarrassing!
The GSW were the hottest team going into the playoffs...they were an 8th seed on paper but dont be fooled. Just pray that the Spurs can avoid the Mavs again partner

With Detroit, I don't think it's a vendetta at all. Rasheed loves Tim Duncan. He is one of the few players he measures himself to, along with KG. And, the rest of the Pistons appreciate and respect the Spurs. They will always come to play hard against the Spurs, win, lose, or blowout by either team. I don't think it's a vendetta at all. It's the realization of how great the Spurs are and they must bring their best game to beat them. I don't think there's any animosity as with teams like Denver or Phoenix. It's rooted out of respect.
I agree with this really. I have the utmost respect for the Pistons and tonight they kind of show why.

So to answer my question that you're going to hate on Rasheed for being in a good mood after beating a great team, you would answer yes?
If he thinks he will be this happy in the postseason, then I will be. Now run along and enjoy this victory. I am sure Detroit is having a crunk time at the bars getting drunk and celebrating hard. You ought to do the same.

So now we're tied with LA and Dallas in the loss column AFTER going 6-8 in our last 14 games, a testament to how mediocre the Lakers and Mavs are.

    Not worried.
Spurs just losing to teams they are suppose to lose to. Spurs too old to hit some shots and play some D

Well said, and vice versa. I think the Spurs and pistons would love to meet each other again in the Finals, and it would be another 7-gamer.

The playoffs, especially the Finals, have sucked since 04 and 05.

Yeah my girlfriend who is from Detroit is about to be home from work in the next 20 minutes. She is going to constantly rub it in my face on a day that has been ty throughout. She keeps up with Detroit teams constantly. I am also suffering a 24 hour bug and now I get this. My bad for snapping and being edgy.

What is up with Tony Parker? He just seems distracted on the court.

Question : Do you guys think we're playing worse than last year? And do you think that it's not going to be as simple as last seasons "we're not making any trades" to fix the problem this time. I'm leaning towards looking at trade possibilities.

It's cool. No problem at all. But, honestly, Rasheed is just a character. He probably respects one team in the entire NBA, and it's the Spurs. And, aside from one or two jackass Piston fans on these boards, the majority of Pistons fans really respect the Spurs. We wish the Pistons have had the success the Spurs have had. Really, the Pistons and Pistons fans aren't the ones to get upset about after a game. We actually like you guys.

I think we're in better shape this year. Last year we didn't have the injuries to the big 3 that got them out of rhythm. We just blew. I really feel like we're going to go on a tear soon.

    Aww group hug!

Kidding. I agree with JamStone. I dotn think there are two teams or two fan bases that respect each other as much as the pistons and spurs.

Hope we see each other at the end of the road
