I just feel so terrible right now and they'll lose with that point margin. Oberto was playing better earlier and pop took him out, gggrrrrr!!!! I feel for Manu how he feels for this lost, well unfortunately he's the only one really plays with all of his heart. No one else does!!!

And the Hornets are a good team, but they won't go far in the playoffs. They have NO interior defense, and their perimeter defense wasn't too impressive. They have great offense but they are a jumpshooting team. Those aren't going to fall all the time in the playoffs. We might not beat them but Dallas, Phoenix, even Denver or the Lakers will.

The Suns don't have interior D either. And Dallas is a soft jumpshooting team for the most part. So far it looks like the Hornets are better than both, their only knock is their bench. Hornets are 2-0 vs the Suns and 1-1 vs the mavs. I think they could make a lot of noise in the playoffs.

With the new flex-pricing scheme for tickets, I hope this game was discounted.

Hornets are legit. If they can stay healthy they are a top team in the WC. They can easily beat the Suns, Mavs, or any other soft jumpshooting team.

Actually maybe it's time to start Manu. It just seems that lately he really hasn't brought the same energy that made our bench so good. Ime has been doing an awesome job bringing it right from the bench.

Nope the bench would be non existent if you do that. What I would do is start Manu in the 3rd quarter, rest him in the middle of the 3rd bring him back to finish the last couple of minutes in the 3rd, then again start the 4th rest him in the middle and bring him back in the last 5-6 minutes.

Starting Ime might work only because he'll get more shots starting than what Finley does. Of course, Finley won't get any good shots off the bench with the other bench guys.

Listen he is going to get less shots with Duncan and Parker out there. WHy do you think Pop decided to bring Manu off the bench because he sometimes wouldn't even have 1 shot when he played with the starting 5

Ime will bring more toughness, defense, rebounding, energy into the starting 5. I'm not saying to start him for his offense only. Maybe this way the Spurs won't always let the other team get off to hot starts and be in a hole everytime the bench comes in. A TONE needs to be set at the start of the game and the Spurs have to follow through with it for the full 48 minutes.

Unfortunately not, just followed through yahoo and nba website. That's the thing about the SPURS, they should play much better for us international fans who waste our time hanging there and not a sloppy game like this. Well, manu always carry the burden for them, i feel he's so pissed the way they play too, that's why he can't get back his rhythm.

The reality is that the spurs are not the best team anymore. Hopefully, they can go far in playoff on the basis of their experience.

That's the difference between these "it's only January" games compared to previous years. The West is tough this year and a few losses puts you out of the playoffs. Not that I don't think the Spurs make the playoffs but the room for error is a lot tighter than before.

We just got outplayed by the Hornets.

It's the first game, where the Spurs couldn't rely on the other team playing horribly whenever we went through our typical 8 minutes of offensive droughts.
They're in for a rude awakening against the top-tier teams who are at full strength, if they don't get their offensive act together soon.

yeah, Manu didn't really do anything in the game today--compared to his regular production this season
