You know, I expected a good start by Phoenix. I didn't expect the Spurs to just give up in that quarter. That's inexcusable.
I'm not seeing much heart either so far.
The Suns aren't gonna play the whole game like that.
The Spurs will get it together.

Situation is beautiful for the Spur to win and totally wipe AZ off the map.
Oh and if the refs would ing call the fouls the lead would be smaller. Two consecutive possessions the Spurs got hacked on drives and no calls.

Ok I know we're playing like but the refs just missed like 3 calls in a row against us where our guys are getting hammered. Shaq smashed Parker in the ing face that last drive. Come on!
Yeah, he's a whopping 1-3 with 3 turnovers. If only he could be 2-6 with two turnovers like Tony, or 1-6 like Duncan.

Leads like this by the Suns have dissipated before. Spurs have come back from this before.
It would be hard to picture Tim, Manu and Tony not fighting and making the lead more manageable.
Runs happen.
I am not saying that it is likely that we will prevail at the end of the game.
I do think that it is likely that we will get the lead to no more than 12 at some point in this game.
We will go on a run.
Unfortunately, it takes a lot of energy to do make that run and cut that lead to 12 or so, and then the other team can usually fight it off.
That's probably what will happen here.
Esp in Phoenix.
If we do get embarrassed, it could be a good thing as we come home for game 5.

I was feeling like this might happen. The Spurs came into Phoenix on Thursday thinking get a split, and after they won on Friday they just couldnt mentally make themselves get up today. Props to the Suns for showing up with pride. That said, only 1 quarter in so the Spurs can pick it up as the Suns energy comes down and make this a tight game down the stretch.
