Once again, Pop is a genius!
If TP's jump shot was falling tonight this could have been a totally different game, it just didnt' happen as bell and diaw hitting everything wont happen again.
Once again, Pop is a genius!
I dont think the lakers would either but thats just my opinion. The spurs have been blown out before and they handle it pretty well and usually come back strong their next game.
Thats fine to say. I fully expect the SPurs to come out blazing on Tuesday. Its gonna be a tough game.
this is gonna be a nightmare trip to SA for the suns.
Diaw sucks, there is reason he isnt a starter, he isnt consistent enough...he will have a typical Diaw game in game 5, 7 pts in 22 minutes.....Raja Bell is a flatout asshole, dikks like that have karma working against them, no way in he has the same kind of game...
Im guessing 8-10. I dont even remmember him actually getting fouled shooting.
i think if the spurs come out on all cylinders and getting a lead of any size in the first quarter with the crowd and everything the game will be over soon as the suns wont have any heart to come back. today it was just different from the very beginning.
I wish it would be like game 1. Now that was an awesome game to watch. Then again since I'm a spurs fan a blowout would be awesome too.
he got fouled twice on the act of shooting for 4 FTs
Tp has never been a great jump shooter. I agree with JVG from that perspective but it would be wrong to suggest that he can't knock down open jumpers. He has had open shots all series long because Nash cheats on the pick and rolls by going towards the basket instead of fighting to guard the jumpshot. I'd like to know tp's jumpshot percentage in this series. Open shots will always be there. Tp just has to take what the defense gives him. He had a rhythm in game 3 and that opened up his entire game. Hope it continues in game 5.
Spurs in 5.![]()
Were Tony, Manu, and Tim doing a routine icedown on bench since the 4th quarter was garbage time? Was there something physically wrong with them?
Just wondering.
On to game 5 in SA.
All normal.
It's actually good that the Spurs got blown out, help them get focused for Tuesday.
Nothing's wrong. They ice on the bench a lot when they're not going back in.
if 1parker1 likes, its good![]()
The net total (23-8 = 15) is still on the high side if you extrapolate for the entire game. Of course they only shot four free throws in the second half in the garbage time second half.
Cool. Thanks.
Agree.
Better than expending our guys in a close game loss
Dudes should have been focused today though, what a missed opportunity.
Well as Michael Cooper said after the game "The Spurs are going to give the Suns a butt whooping back in SA"
I think the Spurs will see it as exactly that, a missed opportunity. And it will make them focus. I expect to see them come out strong and end it in game 5.
yeah, I trust they'll play better for the win. They followed one of their best games. with one of their worst games. Poor decisions, turnovers, bad passes, poor defense and bad calls got in their heads.
I think they'll play with more ball movement on Tuesday and go back to Tim.
Plus, the Suns really, really wanted to keep their dignity, as a caliber team.
As mad/disappointed as I am, I just can't see a Duncan led team miss another opportunity. We've seen this from the Spurs before over the years, and we all know their focus and intensity will be much better on Tuesday. I'm hoping that translates into a win for them.
expect Duncan/Scola to gie them on Tuesday
The Spurs should have no worries about closing this series out. The danger in losing this game is that the series is now prolonged to potentially 5-7 games. The longer these series go for a veteran and old team like SAS the more it hurts their chances of being fresh in the later rounds.
