I don't know why Pop had Finley on Diaw instead of Horry. He should have put Horry on Diaw, Duncan on Stoudemire, and Finley on Skinner.
Finley cannot defend Diaw. You'd think they would put Bonner in by now...

Suns shooting only 39%
Spurs shooting 50%
remember that stat, as it could come back to bite the Spurs in the ass should the shooting %'s even out some, as the Suns are only down 4 despite shooting very poorly.
The roof would've come off the T...
Car companies talking about how "sustainable" they are. What a BAD FREAKIN JOKE.
I get the feeling that if Hill hadn't of gotten injured this series would be over.
Spurs have no answer for Diaw.
These guys get paid millions of dollars to play the game... least they can do is learn how to shoot an uncontested 'free throw'...
That would solve the hack-a-wank problem as well.![]()
We're defending it because it's a smart strategy. They have the opportunity to score every time we do it, if they were to make their free throws it wouldn't even be an issue. It's kept the Suns from getting on a roll every time the Spurs have played them. I'm perfectly happy with that.
So POP has no faith in our D at all, lets just foul 50% FT shooters instead.![]()
OK, the game's not on TV here so I'm following via audio. How does the game look, guys? Do the Spurs look sharp and focused? Do you get that winning feeling that things will go our way tonight? Anyone?
I am *back*, let the rape party begin!
good start. I hope they can keep it up. It looks like Manu can rest up tonight
More basketball actually being played and less watching players attempt taking 3 minutes to take 2 shots? No way would that ever work.
It may not actually be the best solution but it would be a step in the right direction.
Pop trusts the defense, he's keeping Phoenix from developing some sort of run or momentum.
Diaw is a straight-up Spur killer...
I don't defend it.
Read my post on page 10:
"No, Doug is right in principle - the rule MAKES NO SENSE. How is it not an intentional foul? How does it make basketball a better spectacle?
Answers - looks intentional to me, and it ruins the game as a spectacle.
Take off your homer glasses - hack-a-shaq is and counter to the spirit of the game."
Thanks...![]()
They need to put size on Diaw
Hed have the advantage off the dribble but he a hesitant scorer
Being further away from the rim would only increase the likelihood of him not shooting
When hes 2 ft from the basket its a gimmie of course he gonna shoot it
Pop is going a bit overboard with the Hack-a-*. It has its time and place, so just let the Suns miss their shots mang.
...Tim's got to make those easy ones. Two point blank shots at the end.
You know, it Spurs are such a great defensive team, shouldn't they be able to hold a team under Shaq's and Skinner's FT percentage? Is Pop conceding that they have a better chance at Shaq missing free throws than them actually makinga defensive stop?
It looks amazing in HD, while seating comfortably in my couch and sipping a pina colada![]()
hahahahahahaha
They look like they did in the first game. In other words they look a little sloppy at times but like it's their game to lose.
