Before the game is utterly changed, I would like to at least see all of the alternatives. The first solution is not always the best.

I also want a team to be able to manage the clock in the closing minutes if they are trying to mount a come back.

It's not the "first solution" I've thought about, it's about the 5th. I've examined it from all angles and it makes sense.

Why should fouling near the end of the game to make it into a FT shooting contest if you are behind be an option? Once again, it is contrary to the nature of basketball.

Anyway, at least we agree that HACK-A-WANK is crap and the rules have to be changed to get rid of it.

Suns are not playing with the desperation I thought they'd be playing with. Aside from Parker, no one is pushing the ball. With Parker out, the Spurs offense looks completely out of whack. Suns able to make a run with him out.
