Yeah, I'm not sure that Pop will knee-jerk into putting Bowen on Paul. I could see that matchup in one of two cir stances: (1) Peja off the floor, Pargo on, and Bowen and Parker both on the floor for SA; (2) closing minutes of a tight game.

I think Bowen ultimately becomes a change of pace for the Spurs' efforts to defend Paul, but not the focal point of that effort. If the Spurs can make Paul a scorer and not a scorer and a distributor, I suspect they'll take their chances with that. Ultimately, the issue for the Spurs is holding the Hornets' team FG percentage in check. In the two Spurs losses, the Hornets shot exceptionally well from the floor (54.3% in San Antonio and 58.7% in New Orleans). That's more likely when Paul is scoring and getting his teammates involved as well, which is why I expect the Spurs will rarely double Paul and will devote a great deal of attention to staying with his teammates and denying open looks to them.

I must say you guys, Spurs Fans, have a whole lot of Class!!! The Dallas Mavericks Fans are "Over the top with Arogance and Hate"

Of course I will be pulling for the Hornets but I wish you guys luck. People can talk trash all they want however the Spurs have to be respected. San Antonio has earned their place in history.

Also, you think San Antonio is a night mare for Stern (market size etc). Think what it will do to him if "little ole New Orleans" was to make it to the finals.

I am sure Stern is salivating over a potential Lakers/Celtics final.
