Spurs got to stop giving up. The Hornets go on runs and the Spurs play like crap. Gotta stop that now!
This game NO was the aggressor and we just didn't answer back.

It helps, but it's not as much of a factor as most fans/pundits would lead you to believe.
td4mvp21 is a troll.
Yep the almost nightly 3rd quarter of doom reared its ugly unwanted head again
I got an idea NO MORE HALFTIME!!!
Just let em sit on the bench for the 15 minutes and do Sudoku or sumn
Who's the idiot who said this would be a sweep???
This was always going to be a 6/7 game series.
You guys are our toughest matchup in the league.
Congrats on the win. See you in game 2.
dude, it's not the end of the world - the hornets are wining at home, needed to get this one. period. duncan needs to stop whining and come back with fire in his ass in game 2.
and the NO organization has to stop making stupid stunts.
Oh ok, lol. I was about to catch a heart attack on some of the statements he was making.
Man i'm rooting for the Hawks on Sunday, been watching you guys play the Celts straight up and that zaza-kg face to face time was awesome![]()
Didn't you see Bruce's hard shin foul on Paul's foot?
That was brutal.
The Hornets have been doing those stunts for years, this is the first mishap.
lol @ you thinking bowen or finely with the ball in the lane is better than them shooting stand still jumpers.
No.
oh, ok. (yawns)
More like the second and third and fourth possessions being allowed. Duncan I think only had 3 rebounds all night. Un inreal.
No, I'm not. He will do it himself. No one is harder on Duncan when he has a bad game than Duncan. He'll work through it, he'll be ready for game 2.
He had a bad game. It happens.
This team only goes as far as Duncan takes them. He knows that. He'll make the adjustments. This series is far from over.
I was surprised we were into the game for as long as we were with Timmy having such off night. After watching this game, I actually feel pretty good about the Spurs chances. I know Timmy will be back for the rest of the series, and our defense can only improve from here on out.

Ok.
So, I'm a ing troll because I say what I think? I'm a ing troll because I do not think the Spurs could come back to win the series after being down 2-0? That doesn't mean I'm not going to cheer for them. I still will. But goddamn, you guys scoff at the notion that the Spurs may not win this series. I'm sick of this bull about how if you criticize your team or don't think they can win that you're a troll or a bandwagoner. Jesus Christ.
Like I said, the Spurs were lazy, especially on the defensive boards. Duncan missed point-blank shots. The team missed too many free throws. Untimely turnovers by Manu in the 3rd that helped that run by the Hornets. It was one of those nights.
Yea i can't even lie....the hornets offensive rebounds were inexcusable if I'm a spurs fan.
What I think is intriguing is: The Hornets have the 2nd best road record in the NBA so there's no guarantee that the Spurs will automatically win both games at home.
well, when your statements are the same as trolls' statements, why should you not be regarded as one? the lakers trolls are already calling this series over in the hornets favor because of this loss, and you are doing the same, so what's the difference between you and them? Allah Akbar.
So put Barry in for Finley, or run Parker or Manu down the middle with the other big setting a weak elbow rub. , do SOMETHING!
What I object to is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. Even after it was clear that Tim was bothered by the doubles (when was the last time he was doubled all game? It's been a while), we kept going 4-down... why? Why not move him to the high post, or PNR? When you shoot 9/14 from 3, it is inevitable that you'll end up around 40-50% if you keep shooting it, and that's what happened.
Anyway, we need major adjustments at both ends in game 2. Be interesting to see what Pop does.
Hugo went through a burning ring of fire.
We went down down down and the Hornets went higher.
And it burns burns burns...
the ring of fire...
Lost our desire...

TD will usually get a pass from people if it were the regular season. It's just that it's hard watching him play like this in the playoffs, when every game matters.
We're not going anywhere without TD. I think he let the non-calls early in the game get to his head. He's best when he just ignores them and makes them pay with his play.
