Being a geek is a lot less geeky than it used to be. I mean, what with cell phone ringtones, digital cameras, stolen media and the kids and their damn myspaces, you're ed in this world if you don't know your way around computers. And with video games being as good as they are now, it's become a lot more mainstream to be a gamer. In any case, if I knew as much about computers and played as many video games in high school as I do now I probably would have been crucified, but the clearly times have and are a changin.
It's the digital age for christsakes- if we use the word digital to describe our entire historical epoch, it probably isn't that geeky anymore to be informed about technology.
