Utah is hanging tough but this game is waiting to be blown out.
What a block by Favors on Duncan, and then following it up with blocking Parker, wow!
fouling too much... uncharacteristic for the Spurs... we can score anytime, tbh... we just need a few stops
only a matter of time before the Spurs put this game away.
Nice dunk by Ginobili!
if he believed in jesus that woulda gone in
He must not be a member of Godvine
Spurs are gonna get an ass chewing at halftime. Hopefully someone kills Bonner too.
need to tighten up the D a bit and make a run, we should be ok
Should be 70-47 tbh, so many wide open looks were missed.
Thankfully, we have Diaw. Bonner looks like he's scared out there like usual.
Good first half. Props to the Jazz for coming in and playing hard. They aren't going to roll over.
That said, this game should be out of reach by the end of the third.
Bonner has gotten outside of his role, which is to spread the floor. He now thinks he can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim. That's a bad idea. He jumps and looks for someone to pass to. He should stay outside the 3pt line and just move the ball.
The Spurs started off playing a different brand of ball than that which got them there. They started pounding it inside to Tim and none of the outside shooters even tried to get an open look until Jax.
Yes, the Spurs should be up 20 right now, with the missed FTs and easy chip shots and the missed dunk. Expect them to clean that up in the 2nd half, and if they get those same opportunities, they will capitalize on them.
That useless Bonner is the achilles heel of the team. Even if Buford trades him for a used mattress cover and a set of wiper blades, it'd be more helpful to the team than he is now. Ah well, at least the towel boys are kept busy by wiping the yellow puddle under his seat on the bench.
that was a very informative half time show.... about the Lakers....
lol didn't watch
Timmy and Manu missed some chippies in the first half - they need to finish better. Better rebounding and transition D and we can blow this one open.
Gotta hand it to the Jazz, they're playing tough as . Favors is ting all over the Spurs. Hoping the Spurs pick it up in the second half.
I gotta say the jazz are gonna be pretty good in a couple of years.
