Heard Clowney had to be carted off the field today due to a right leg injury. Anyone know how bad it was?
Didn't appear to be serious
O'Brien said in the presser afterwards it was nothing.
clowney looked good when attacking, but they're literally wasting a season with their qb situation
they couldve gotten bortles , who exceeded my expectations
imo it would have been re ed to draft a qb at #1 when the oline is bottom 3 worthy.. it is pretty stupid to have clowney as a linebacker too though..
Texans need Kellen Football, tbh....
not suggesting they should have gone QB #1, but they shouldn't have decided to go into the 2014 season without a starting QB on the roster either.
You simply can't pass a guy like Clowney up. He has the potential to be a real difference maker.
i never said they should pass up clowney ... why is this being discussed
let's face the truth, even if you put peyton or brady to the texans, they wouldn't win , with that oline you're not going anywhere, and sending a young qb to get destroyed in his first year, is not really the best course of action. i didn't like them going with TE in the third round, that should have been a qb or another lineman imo.
Sorry. I wasn't talking to you. Just giving an opinion on taking a guy who will make a difference right now, something a rookie QB won't do, usually.
Do you think the Texans will try to trade for a QB or are they content with Fitz and buy some time until Savage takes over?
they're banking on Fitz looking better with Andre Johnson and Arian Foster, valid
Yeah, take a junglemonkey run first QB who won't last 5 full years in the NFL over a freak of nature DE who dominated s last night
Keenum looked good last night in the limited snaps, he's getting the ball out quicker. I think after last night he has a good chance of winning the job if zpatrick plays like that again.
'dominated s'
Where's the gif of the TE blowing right by him for an easy TD? But but he's a freak of nature.
Clowney had a mediocre showing at best...like foozeball
No. Football wasn't spectacular but he was far from mediocre like the lazy Clown.
I don't think you payed attention to the details. Clowney was blowing past Offensive lineman up until he was taken out. He got into the backfield pretty quick, and the wheel route was the only bad play. Put Nix, Joseph, and Cushing in the lineup, the defense will dominate.
Jesus christ you are a homer, dumbjohn. That gif and still of the exact same play (on a TE not even an olineman) really proves he 'dominated s'.
