4 game suspension, Patriots fined $1 Million, & forfeit 2016 first round pick & 2017 4th round pick.
I'm genuinely shocked. I didn't think the NFL had the balls to actually punish these cheaters.
After Brady appeals....and wins...the new punishment will "probably" be two games max.
Why are people acting like $1mil is a big punishment? The draft picks I get, the suspension, sure. But it's $1 million dollars. That's what the Pats spend on Gatorade.
Brady got 4 games for lying and cheating. Terelle Pryor got 5 games for tattoos in college
Why would he win?
Because they have nothing on him
this. Union will fight it ...
The balls were deflated and they met their standard needed for punishment...
The suspension is for not cooperating. He won't win.
cosigned.
the NFL made the initial investment in the pat's ponzi scheme with the Tuck Rule, maybe they're embarrassed how far they've taken things.
It's just my opinion. It's not set it stone that he will either win or lose his appeal. I can guarantee you one thing though...it will be appealed. 4 games just seems a little harsh to me.
Most NFL fans just hate the Patriots...so a harsh penalty would be the only thing that appeases the mob.
He should have gotten 6 at least.
I don't think people hate the patriots as much as they hate seeing people continuously cheat and never get punished accordingly...
I heard this on ESPN...and please correct me if I'm wrong. (I didn't read the Wells report)
3 out of the 4 "Colts Footballs" tested were under-inflated. Why no "Suspend Andrew Luck for the Season" talk?
