Crazy. Must be a reflection of how the team feels about the franchises direction
Maybe SF is drafting too many High IQ guys not willing to destroy their brains/bodies

maybe not for good. but for at least a season
"After a few years of thought, I've decided it will be best for me to take a year or so away from the NFL," Davis said in a release. "This will be a time for me to allow my Brain and Body a chance to heal. I know many won't understand my decision, that's ok."
I hope you too have the courage to live your life how you planned it when day dreaming to yourself growing up. Your Life is Your dream and you have the power to control that dream. I'm simply doing what's best for my body as well as my mental health at this time in my life."
Davis, the No. 11 overall pick of the 2010 draft out of Rutgers, had not been attending the Niners' voluntary OTAs after an injury-wracked 2014 season. He began his NFL career by starting his first 64 games, but shoulder, hamstring, knee and ankle injuries, as well as a concussion, limited him to seven games last season.

He won't be welcome back
Holy . This team collapse is un- ing-believable!
Read this elsewhere
The team got run down - worked to the bone, long seasons with play-offs, not a fun environment with the grind mentality - you saw it in them last season, the fight had left the team, they were worn out. Borland doesn't fit this part - except that in his one season he was playing like a madman way above his size.
Add in the quacky and vapid leadership of Kid York, and zero warmth Baalke.
Add in the tiring media story last year, and the demoralizing losses to SEA.
Add in the coaching staff change = the arduous task of starting over learning a system, etc.
Add in the influence of seeing others call it quits (removes the taboo).
It all adds up to people rationalizing a time to leave.
As with all of football, IT IS NEVER JUST ONE THING, it is the compounding of many things. And this is what you get.
i just laugh at this point. i hope to God i never forget this offseason, it would be hard to top it unless the charter plane crashes into Alcatraz.
I'd honestly prefer the bandage to have been ripped off like what's happening to the Niners instead of the slow decline into 7-to-9 win mediocrity.
Damn I wish we played in the NFC South.
they even traded Andy Lee for a 2017 7th rounder
Carlos Hyde
Kendall Hunter
Reggie Bush
Mike Davis
Torrey Smith
Anquan Boldin
Vernon Davis
Jerome Simpson
I like it.
So Aldon Smith got arrested for a DUI and a Hit and Run last night...
This offseason has been fiyah for the 49ers.
Just another American Football criminal
There have been millions play Ameican football.
Now give me that list of criminals, come on prove your point.
Right now there are over 1000 colleges that play football (we'll forget HS ball) and 32 pro teams. We'll also ignore the Arena league andf some rinky dink semi pro leagues.
Now tell me, how many can you name that are/were criminals, well?
More than any other sport. Because American Footballers are the dumbasses and laziest
