5 star thread. Will recommend to friends and family.
In the wake of the recent bombings which have hit close to home here in Austin, I have come up with a 5 point plan for real bomb control right now. I'm not really interested in discussing anything else besides my proposals so don't bother.
Having said that here is my plan:
1.) Be at least 21 to buy a bomb.
2.)Go through a 6 month (minimum) training course similar to a driver's license course
3.) Professional mental health evaluation
4.) Ban Bomb Shows now!
5.) 30 day wait period after purchase to receive bomb
In addition to the 5 point plan, I also believe it's important that we have "Bomb Free Zones" - a safe space for women and children. We won't need security at these locations since we will have signs to let everyone know our protocol. I think with these implementations we can end mass bombings once and for, all but we need bi-partisan support.

I think these proposals will cut bomb violence by 100,000,000%
I haven't crunched the numbers yet, but I think this is a good 'ballpark' figure for now.
If these are the measures that need to be taken to save innocent lives then I'm all for it.
When was the last bomb show, Chris?
People will still make and use bombs, therefore we shouldn’t have any laws restricting them!
The only thing stopping a bad guy with a bomb is a good guy with a bomb!
Make sure teachers are equipped with bombs!
ST gun lovers -- not ST gun owners, mind you -- are really on the defensive these days.
The only thing that can stop a bad guy with a bomb is a good guy with a bomb.
Y'all need this more than anything.
It's Chris so the op might actually be serious
Irrelevant.
Nope. He brought it up, not you.
Completely relevant.
Regardless of when the last bomb show was he still want to place a ban on it. Since when are you worried about effective policy?
When was the last bomb show?
Irrelevant.
Completely relevant. If he wants a law, let's find out the scope of the bomb show problem.

Laws can be pre-emptive.
Your comment is irrelevant.
Nope, you just want to shut down any conversation you don't agree with.
Tough .
Your gun won't save you from this.
When was the last bomb show?
Now you are reaching and just commenting because you are persistent. Wrong but persistent.
I didn't bring bomb shows up -- now no one on your side wants to talk about them.
Tough . Your running away says as much as a forthright answer here. Even more.
When was the last bomb show?
You can purchase tannerite at most gun shows. Also pipe bombs and molotovs. Probably over the weekend there were a few, but I'm seeing a bunch on the 23rd-24th of this month if you still live in Austin.
You didn't answer the question.
