Happened yesterday. Hasn't been posted here which surprised me a bit.

Am I crazy thinking this has a nonzero chance of passing the House? The GOP has to be scared of losing the House and with net neutrality being something voters on both sides overwhelmingly support, it might be smart for Republicans who aren't in ruby red districts to vote for this. Otherwise this could be an incredibly effective wedge issue for the Democrats to hammer GOP in bents and the president in the 2018 midterms.
If I'm the GOP and Trump I probably would pass and sign this into law in the hopes it could make keeping a House majority easier. Then the big wedge issue can go back to impeachment, which is much better for the GOP since the majority of voters don't support impeachment right now. Then the Democrats will have to keep distancing themselves from impeachment talk, which could suppress voter enthusiasm from the left. I think it would be smart for the GOP to take the L here to give them a better chance at keeping the House, then with the senate seats they'll be likely to pick up in November they should be able to repeal Obamacare on a reconciliation vote next year. That's the big prize for those pieces of .
Voting no on the bill gives a campaign advantage on an important issue for any potential opponent.
Your claiming to not care.
I’ve always claimed skepticism. Is that the same thing as “not caring”?
You are defending your magic R with vigilance, spos.
Have a take on net neutrality?
if you hadn't ignored me, you would have seen that I posted this yesterday, weirdly, in the "net neutrality" thread
The legislative victory is fleeting because the House does not intend to take similar action, but Democrats are planning to carry the political fight over Internet access into the 2018 midterms.
The House very likely won't even bring it to the floor.
Well after 1200 posts about it, claiming you “don’t care” just seems dishonest as . Of course you had to be called out for months before finally admitting you do care, now you’re just “skeptical”
If the house doesnt bring it to the floor and the dems win the house in november can they bring it up then?
Possibly.
Maybe you guys should point out where I said I don’t care.
You were called out on it repeatedly, spos. You think this line is going to work or that we believe you really don't know?
This reminds me of WC claiming he never said he didn't like black people.
