But not as much as we used to. Lakers got smaller and who can guard Durant anyways?

The Captain should play well with us. He single-handedly beat us earlier this year, I think that was him saying " yo RJ clown, trade for me! Can RJ ever do this? no."

Good point. Small ball just got a lot more potent. In fact, if Jack pans out, the Spurs might have just replaced RJ and Bonner's spot in the clutch-time rotation.
we may be talking about amnesting Bonner this summer if things work out..

Now we nneed someone to brush up on some Jackson tape, and see if this guy is washed up or just apathetic
I've seen him a few times. Sometimes he looks okay. Sometimes he looks done. That one game against the Spurs, he looked like Kobe crossed with MJ crossed with Bird.

That said, I wouldn't expect much. I mean, if he averages 10 points per game on 42% shooting from the field and 35% shooting from beyond the arc, that'd be a little better than expected.

There's a small chance he can totally turn it around and have one final glorious run of good games ... but I doubt it. I think he'll be inefficient and have some bad games but he'll also be someone you can count on to really, really care about winning. That alone is an improvement over RJ.

Better this year's pick than a future pick. And bonus points for being lottery protected.

It's a little tough to see the pick go but then again, $10 million for a late first rounder is a trade every team does every time.

Jordan Hill. He's not good, and he's been abused by every big man he's faced (Tiago's 25 points) but he's a big body and offers size from the bench.

    Great news.

Spurs pick for this year is currently 27th. It isn't a that big loss.

Agreed. BTW, glad your lovely wife isn't the GM. Seeing three first rounders go would have stung a bit.

If Jackson is done, then we all should start praying Leonard stays healthy. If Jackson sucks, Leonard can be due for big big big time minutes
