Beverley gives the Clippers actual toughness, as opposed to the fake toughness CP3 infested in the team. I'd bet anything the Clippers finish ahead of Houston if they keep Blake.

, I thought this was a troll thread. I don't get this one, Harden was killing at the point and I'm not sure you want to take the ball out of his hands. Still, if you can get A+ talent like CP3 you do it and try to figure things out later I guess. Damn I thought the Spurs had a real shot at CP3. Now they're going to have to chase B-level talent like Griffin or Hayward, or even worse overpay C-level talent like George Hill.

    Lol Spurs ...
    Lol Clips ...

tbh with a smart move i think Spurs can still beat Rox but they will be a problem ...

Holy ... I guess West wants to rebuild

Glad we're not on the hook for giving that choking got $207 million.
    Exactly!

This is very much a Jerry West move. I hope Doc Rivers is next.

Sucks for the Spurs but also for CP3. Now he has noone to blame but himself for not winning .

We're actually building around Blake Griffin now though. JJ is probably leaving too. I mean, I see the logic from a business standpoint but the Clippers are probably going back to the cellar soon. I'm curious who's replacing CP3, it better not be freaking Kyle Lowry!

If Blake comes back and stays healthy you might have a shot at getting past the 2nd round now tbh

True, tbh. If he decides to stay, I would love to see us use Blake as a point forward full-time now (the LeBron/Giannis role). I think he'll surprise a lot of people who are writing him off based on the last two years.

Not sure about that since the Rockets love their regular season wins But as far as playoff success go I agree, although the Clippers do need a perimeter playmaker now

I won't be surprised if CP3 actually wins it. Chris Paul on a D'Antoni system?

Rockets are also a lock to win 65+ wins.

Paul and Harden don't really seem like a pair that's gonna get along for too long.

He's the heart and soul of that team. He's far from perfect but we'll finally see his true worth with the Clippers.

Credit to Harden for recruiting Paul who is ball dominant ...he is probably sacrificing mvp consideration.

Ummm, Paul has never ran an uptempo offense. They are swapping their proven motor out for a down grade. Lost some defense in favor of a person who is going to partially nullify your best player, who is injury prone and old and expecting him to run in this system. Seems like the worst fit since Kerr traded for Shaq during the Nash era.

    Subtraction by addition, tbh.

Beverley, a one year rental of Lou Williams, and a 2018 pick likely to be no higher than 28 isn't much tbh.
