Has decent lateral movement and can set a screen. Knows how to rebound.

Definitely a situational guy. Might be a defensive small ball center specialist down the road. With all the shooters the spurs going with, makes sense to have someone who can run and rebound and you dont want shooting.

Let's see if he survived the G league.

    28" vertical... sad.
18% from 3 point land... just sad.
    6'8" undersized center?

Well, I guess he can rebound. That's a skill that translates in any league.
Lol. True but in reality how many basketball players are "athletic" ? Maybe 1 on each team.... kd cant even bench 185 and his vert is like 10

I just wonder if this is the new kind of NBA center? Not necessary big, but mobile enough to rebound, block shots and shoot the occasional 3?

This is the most unimpressive pick ups I've seen, but perhaps Spurs know what they are doing with the new 2-way contracts. Got to get your guys before everyone starts stockpilling theirs.

Yea thats what I'm leaning towards. As much as people hate draymond, he's changing the personel needs of teams.

I know it's a two-way, but Spurs are becoming Hornets, with their seeming obsession with white bigs. They clearly need a Dedmon type, yet they let him walk, don't pursue Reed for the minimum and before that, pass on Bell and Anigbogu (would have preferred Bolden to him, but he's a different type), to pick a low ceiling guard.

At Costello being two injuries away from being a default rotation player for a team with supposed championship aspirations. Significant moves should be made with Warriors, Rockets, Cavaliers, in mind, but lesser ones should still be made with goal of having sufficient depth everywhere to get through 82-89 games to get to them in the playoffs.
