    Wow.

Presuming they're all available, I'd think McGrady, Walker, Greene and possibly Brown, are candidates. Realistically though, with the possible exception of McGrady, none would be in the playoff rotation anyway.

By and large, so long as Leonard stays healthy, they should be able to get away with Green/Ginobili playing backup SF, though.
Any hope of having McGrady makes me crazy. I love that dude. In limited time he could be a difference maker. I know he is made of glass, but, come on. This is possible our last chance with Timmy in the roster. The dead last.

Unless Jack went and choked Pop in practice I just can't see how this makes any sense.

I tend to think whatever Jack did, it was worth the Spurs move. I would give the spurs the benefit of the doubt here. I'm just waiting to see what happened. It will come out one way or another...
It's pretty weird that they are putting up with Blair's bull tho at the same time so I wonder about what he did as well but he is a great guy to have in the POs, it's big.

I know he had that ridiculous Instagram upload the other day, complaining about the team not having faith in him, but...[shrug]
    That was Blair wasn't it?

Think we are all pretty shocked by this. Wow.

Spurs will miss his heart, but they won't miss his play.

Even with the disagreements between Pop and Jax you would think that relationship was strong enough to endure and not get to this point. Not only that, but despite his role and what happened behind closed doors, Jax was always cheering for his teammates during games and appeared to be a good teammate.

Its really not that bad. Rather not play jax than play version of jax.

Spurs should have waived jefferson same way befor 11 playoffs and we could have won

And at d ppl thinking we gon a sign anyone worth a
You're so wrong! Sign T-Mac, he was once going to be a spur and now he can finally fulfill his destiny and deliver us #5!!!

It explained the Red rumors. Spurs were looking at an extra wing because there were troubles around Jack.

If I had to guess why, going off szkorhetz' post...maybe it was about an extension? Hes been known to have little fits in the past when his contract situation isnt stable. Especially considering how poorly and the amount of time hes been playing as of late. Id say money was involved in his meltdown.

Huge blow though, out of nowhere. Everything seems to be falling apart.

Pop and Jack seemed to be friends, pretty drastic or Pop to cut him for "sparring" over PT but , gotta remove all negativity quick I guess.

I agree Jack's role has been pretty up and down, as has his play. Some of it due to injuries, some of it due to personal stuff, he's had a bad season. But i know a lot of folks thought that'd change when the playoffs came around.

But with Diaw's news, and the potential for Jack to play more (unless he was told he wouldn't be) this is just craziness.

Jack seemed like a good teammate but he must have blew up during practice or behind the scenes. The Spurs usually honor their agreements and if they agreed to hold onto Jack until the season was over he must have ed up pretty bad for them to go against that.

Well, that is a huge blow to the bench. Jax gave mental toughness, a spark and he could get on a streak and score plus he played defense. Oh well, one less body and a lot weaker. Don't know what the disagreement was about but that's just horrible timing.
