Any hope of having McGrady makes me crazy. I love that dude. In limited time he could be a difference maker. I know he is made of glass, but, come on. This is possible our last chance with Timmy in the roster. The dead last.
I actually like the idea of ryan gomes..

Unless Jack went and choked Pop in practice I just can't see how this makes any sense.
It's pretty weird that they are putting up with Blair's bull tho at the same time so I wonder about what he did as well but he is a great guy to have in the POs, it's big.
That was Blair wasn't it?
Great news! One less body to carry.
Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA now Spurs and Jackson discussed a release prior to trade deadline, but sides agreed to go forward together for rest of season, source says.

Think we are all pretty shocked by this. Wow.
Spurs will miss his heart, but they won't miss his play.
Even with the disagreements between Pop and Jax you would think that relationship was strong enough to endure and not get to this point. Not only that, but despite his role and what happened behind closed doors, Jax was always cheering for his teammates during games and appeared to be a good teammate.
Thunder killer released?
Great news
??????????????????
You're so wrong! Sign T-Mac, he was once going to be a spur and now he can finally fulfill his destiny and deliver us #5!!!

WTF....I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS TEAM GO THOUGH SOME LIKE THIS....REALLY WHAT THE IS GOING ON......... KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
It explained the Red rumors. Spurs were looking at an extra wing because there were troubles around Jack.
He's no Harden, that's for sure.
"If you're scared, go to church" SJAX 2012 Playoffs
Numbers can't quantify what he brought to the table.
If I had to guess why, going off szkorhetz' post...maybe it was about an extension? Hes been known to have little fits in the past when his contract situation isnt stable. Especially considering how poorly and the amount of time hes been playing as of late. Id say money was involved in his meltdown.
Huge blow though, out of nowhere. Everything seems to be falling apart.
Pop and Jack seemed to be friends, pretty drastic or Pop to cut him for "sparring" over PT but , gotta remove all negativity quick I guess.
I agree Jack's role has been pretty up and down, as has his play. Some of it due to injuries, some of it due to personal stuff, he's had a bad season. But i know a lot of folks thought that'd change when the playoffs came around.
But with Diaw's news, and the potential for Jack to play more (unless he was told he wouldn't be) this is just craziness.
Jack seemed like a good teammate but he must have blew up during practice or behind the scenes. The Spurs usually honor their agreements and if they agreed to hold onto Jack until the season was over he must have ed up pretty bad for them to go against that.
Well, that is a huge blow to the bench. Jax gave mental toughness, a spark and he could get on a streak and score plus he played defense. Oh well, one less body and a lot weaker. Don't know what the disagreement was about but that's just horrible timing.
Yeah screaming matches between the coach and player are totally ok.
Here comes McGrady and the 1st round exit...
