Unless you come with something ridiculous like shaq.
So you haven't seen Rice play any games this season either.
Unless you come with something ridiculous like shaq.
He isn't playing where the mojo is.
The stats don't matter. Stats on cold pizza say it's unedible. You gotta put the thing in an oven.
No I haven't seen him play, this year. I don't much enjoy watching cold pizza sit on a counter top. That's been my problem watchin the spurs lately, tbh. I wanna eat a hot unhealthy meat lovers. I get teased with J Green on the court with Bonner and Ayers. No wonder the kid gets cut. That's putting the pizza in the oven, with an unlaced new balance in the middle of it.
That's the best gotcha you've got. And it's as weak as trading rodman for perdue.
I've seen just as much as you. Cause you don't "see" what really matters.
That's pretty much the best I could possibly have.
You admit to not seeing him play.
I saw the summer league game. I know he can ball. Did you see that game?
Yes. And after. He might be able to stick in the NBA at some point, but he isn't the top D-League prospect at this point. It's that simple.
Why is that one darn impressive performance not enough? Is williams hot hand really that much more impressive to you?
Because it's just one darn performance. For what the Spurs need? Absolutely. Is williams hot hand really that much more impressive to you?
Williams wouldn't be my first choice for a call up, but he's better than Rice at this point. That said I wouldn't have complained if Rice had gotten the call. These are just tryouts.
Im coolin down. But it was a playoff game. The shots were clutch. And the kid was playing for his big breakout. I felt like he earned it. I think the breakout chance shoulda lasted all season. Through slump and heat. Through webster and butler. They somehow cut him, how are the spurs not first in line? That's all im tryin to point out. That was one darn impressive performance! Maybe im coming off as harsh on williams, who I've never seen. But what I really intend is we should be higher on rice. I dont care what kinda slumpy look he's been having in places unseen. He's clutch.
I think clutch gets better with age and experience, under Pop. But Pop doesn't take the young piece of clay sitting right under his nose. He takes an old clunky hot hand. Calls it a try out and for a role. I want to see a real try out for a guy who's earned a breakout chance.
There is no line.
And I'm glad that you're cooling down.
Too many are reading too much into this one. He's a lesser version of Belinelli and with the team struggling mightily offensively again and lacking wing depth in general, he makes sense in the short term. He has virtually no chance of lasting the season, but that's besides the point.
I still think they're waiting for Kirilenko to get bought out post deadline and that, with Prince almost certainly Clippers bound, they figure to have a good chance.
You hate that they have monster success doing it in a way that is opposite of your "philosophy", making you, uh WRONG.
Says, who? Almost ever site has him listed at 6'6. Where is your number coming from?
