Good shooter, but can't pass and can't defend. Spurs prefer a defender and passer before they pick up a shooter.
Damn he was probably our best player in Austin. Great shooter, just couldn't do much else. Horrible defender. Best of luck to him though.

The Austin Spurs have acquired guard Nick Johnson from the available player pool.
Tim Hardaway Jr. was sent down from the Hawks too. Going to be an interesting evening. Tickets are nice and cheap.
You can get boots on the floor seats for $75 . I wish I could go tonight.
I'll watch tonight's game to see what Nick Johnson can do. Isn't he supposed to have crazy athleticism?
Spurs won on Sunday 96 -87

Might go to the game, tickets are only 10 bucks.
Actually less than that, behind bench for $40.
How is that possible? I thought Austin was only under the control of the Spurs? Is it because the Hawks don't have a D-League affiliate? They should just set one up in Jacksonville or Savannah or something.
Cade Lalanne is apparently doing pretty damn well. Had 27 the other day and 5 threes?
It's starting:

So cool!
I always appreciate seeing the ASpurs' box scores. Thanks for the posting. Looks like Cady is continuing to tear up the D-league. Hopefully he will be ready to contribute in San Antonio next year.
Simmons and DRob are here too. Really good crowd.
RC and Messina sighting.
Boban looks like a huge elf.
Boban is the man tbh
Austin Spurs beat the Santa Cruz Warriors tonight 111 to 92 at AT&T Center. Cady Lalanne had a double double with 10 points and 12 boards.
Wow, quite the gathering tonight for the Austin game in San Antonio. Boban, Simmons, DRob, Messina, RC!
Good game by Cady and Ray.
Cady regressed the last two games. He'll need to step up his performance.
You watched the games? I admit that I do not watch the ASpurs. I wonder if his regression has anything to do with a new guy or guys, with whom he is unfamiliar being sent down for substantial minutes - like Tim Hardaway, Jr. Did that seem to disrupt Cady's game any?
No, he didn't. #boxscoreperez
You already read my "confession". I don't watch ASpurs; I'm just #boxscoresaint, myself! The last I saw of Cady was summer league. But his play at that time didn't match his ASpurs box scores in any way, shape or form - even his "regressions" I just hope he has a legit chance of becoming the "apprentice" next season in San Antonio!
