No wonder he was talking so much about the team the last few days. He knew Durant was gone and he was getting salary dumped.
He had to be moved for the Warriors to acquire DLo.
He'll be a Laker or a Rocket
Wow they got three firsts for taking on a $17 million expiring contract. That's an incredible haul for being gifted a valuable trade piece.
LMAO this tweet Iggy posted an hour and a half before free agency started

It looks like it's one pick, contingent on the protections.
, on second reading yeah that sounds right.
I almost posted the same thing you did, then I thought "wouldn't that violate the Stepien Rule unless the Dubs somehow have an extra 2025 first?"
Woj could have been more clear.
I think it's one pick, that changes by the year if the pick isn't available.
Buyout coming. Iggy will end up with 76ers, Rockets, or Lakers.
Smart of the Warriors to trade Iggy now-- he'll turn 36 next season-- and replace him with Russell, who is 23 and coming off his best year.
Most likely the Lakers since he can stay in Cali, also not sure he's fond of the Rockets
I'd rather keep him and then trade him in a few months since he's a pretty valuable $17 million expiring.
Won't have a lot of playing time behind LJ and The Klaw
Think you read that wrong...
They also traded 3 future 1st rd picks that will be coming to fruition just right around the time when Curry/Klay/Draymond will be past their primes thus will most likely be in the teens.
DeAngelo is also one of the most overrated players in the league, his backup Dinwiddie is a better 2-way player. He's also a pick-n-roll player except the Duds don't have a roller.
I don't think he has any interest in playing major minutes ala Horry.
The opposite actually. He knew KD was gone but his talking about the medical team put the nail in his coffin. Don’t talk about your boss while you’re still getting paid
Memphis is a 15 win team, why would they need that when they're completely rebuilding?
Warriors "dynasty" officially over.
Because having an expiring like that could be really useful for extracting more picks in exchange for taking a longer contract. Memphis still has a salary floor they have to hit due to the rules of the CBA so it doesn't hurt them to take a longer contract in exchange for Iguodala's expiring if they get some assets out of doing so.
It's only one future first round pick-- Woj worded it awkwardly and made it sound like three, but it's one that changes if it isn't available in the first couple of years.
