How much longer can Ja Morant do his cat-in-the-air Whooptie Do shot selection and keep getting injured?
You know he jumps as hard as he can, then twists and turns cat thrown in the air style staying in the air as long as he possible can. Sometimes makes a nifty shot. Other times dumps it off at the last second for an assist. But as time goes on the defenses have wised up. More and more often he's left holding the bag (the ball literally) and is missing the high degree of difficulty shot, or turning it over.
Regardless, what's should be real concerning for Grizz Fan and Morant is he is hitting the deck -hard- a lot.
    It's taking it's toll.

We've seen it a ton. Was super cool in college and his rookie year.
Seems like since then, and especially this year the law of diminishing returns is setting in.

For one, the NBA is now used to it and don't go for his initial elevation as before.

Will he change his style of play?
If not, how long before he becomes Derrick Rose?

Will Morant get injured. Again and again?
Or will he alter his play?

For me i think he's going to keep doing The Cat.
    Keep getting injured.
But will not get career ending injury but will continue to pile up injured - out status.
Will finally adjust, but only when he has to.

Feels like he's on the Derrick Rose trajectory. Perhaps he avoids the catastrophic injury, but his build is not one that sustains for a 12-15 year career. Definitely has to evolve and shoot better from the perimeter if he's going to be around long term.
