Indeed. Nash was having his way too easily.

I can see this has turned into the proverbial "We didn't have one of our starters so anything less than a blowout is a win for us".
Manu Ginobili brings mostly offense, but Im sure the Suns would have rather of had him shooting than Parker and Duncan last night.
The Suns were ahead for most of the game and obviously have MUCH more talent. That is one very deep team. Good thing, considering a lot of them will probably miss time due to injuries.
To say he bring mostly offense demeans his total value. He bring more intangibles than possibly any player in the league to their respective teams. Stats have never been able to give an accurate account for him.

i was hoping to get a look at Farmer, but nothing...oh well. I was pleased with what I saw from Mason. I cannot wait to see Ian, Tolliver, and Hill......
I enjoyed the hack a shaq to start the game, that was hilarious....but i wasnt happy with the ones later in the game. it was annoying and IMO, unnecessary.
i wish pop would send tape to the league of amare and his foot shuffle everytime before he dribbles. my brother noticed it last night, and when they showed the replay he was right. amare shuffles both feet about 2-3 times before he dribbles along the baseline. he got away with multiple traveling violations last night.
i also like how duncan got bodied to the ground by Shaq, but no foul.....or parker got hammered on 3-4 drives in the second half without a foul call......yet you even look at amare funny and it was a foul.
i kind of knew that lopez was going to get no love from the refs, especially against Duncan. he barely touched duncan and was called for a few fouls. But the kid does hustle. he definitely needs to work on his offensive game though. he is nowhere near as polished as his brother offensively.
im glad we didnt pick up Barnes....he is a chucker and plays a very undisciplined game. he would have been perfect for DAntoni, but for Porter, he will be a complete headache.
the loss sucked.....but at least the team played their butts off minus like 5 players.

I won't be surprised to see Mason move into the starting lineup, Finley is there to groom the guards and bring professionalism anyway. If he's hitting his shots cool but having a mentor is mostly what I think they kept him for. Class Act.
I expect more from Finley with the weight down though so look for him to perform a bit better this season as opposed to last season. Farmer and Finely will fight for the backup first off the bench if things don't change but it's just game 1 of the new season, nothing to worry about. I'm more concerned about the BIGS, or lack thereof
