The Rockets struggled last night on offense without Brooks and Battier on the 2nd unit, but the defense was strong.

It will be interesting tonight......I am no Mavs fan, but I like the team they have put together, very versatile.

The Rockets best chance is to pound it down to Yao, Diop is no match for him, but Rick Adelman is trying to get his offense in....so the Mavs may get this one.

Though I hope not.

Bass wasn't playing him all game. Now I'm not saying to stick Bass on him, but i do recall that there were several times in the game where it seemed like he was able to give Yao fits.

No matter who the mavs put on Yao whether it be damp, diop or bass, he is still going to go off. I never said Bass will contain Yao. 1. Steven Jackson isn't a scrub, but I understood your point, although Jackson didn't defend him straight up. That is one of the most overrated defensive jobs of all time. The double teams is what gave Dirk problems. They were doubling him every time he touched the ball.

2. Jason Kidd can't shoot midrange for crap, but he sure as hell can hit an open 3. You better hope they respect his 3 ball.
