Names of impact players in this years draft that will fortify our chances?
The lottery is a good way to add a top young player. Most of the stars in the league were lottery picks.

Re-signing Drew Gooden or signing Rasheed Wallace would make more of an impact than any lottery pick will next season.
I like both Gooden and Wallace. The spurs should have gotten Wallace when he was traded twice in one season.
That was a missed opportunity to land an impact big on the cheap. The front office failed in either not attempting to get Wallace or not getting it done.

So were people like Sam Bowie, Michael Olowokandi and Kwame Brown. Couple that with the fact that this is not projected to be a very good draft class and you have zero reason to tank the season.

So you don't trust the spurs to get a good player if they had a lottery pick.

Blake Griffin would be nice...Rubio would be a nice backup for Parker...Thabeet would certainly help our interior defense...I'd even take Hansborough over Bonner...

Yep, I would have rather missed the playoffs and garnered a first round pick then watch this team fall apart against the Mavs of all teams. Just pathetic...

um... as a Spurs fan, I would've been pissed that my team tanked
it's just not like the Spurs to do that. Sorry.
