quite funny that the NBA make the cavs play the Rockets in Houston then the next night have to play the Spurs the next night in San Antonio
the lakers get the same treatment in march while Cavs get this in february.
Guess if Spurs win both games Vs Cavs and Lakers many Spurs fans will get confident thinking the Spurs are better than those two teams when in reality the Cavs and Lakers would only of lost due to it being a back to back
guess stern doesn't hate the Spurs afterall

It's not the Spurs fault they cant play themselves on the second game of a back to back...

Rodeo Road Trip...and the Spurs should go 7-1 on the RRT this year...the Celtics are the only game I worry about.

Good. Everyone's schedule sucks at certain points, so you take the advantages when you get them. You still have to beat the guys in front of you.

i say that stretch is a make-up for the schedule they have played lately. like the suns being of since sun and the spurs playing something like 4 in 5 days. or 7 in 9 days or something like that.

Winners prevail, losers complain. Schedule sucks sometimes but they have to play thru it. They're paid millions to play so they should stay in shape and take care of themselves.

Its not that unusual to play back to backs against 2 home state teams. I don't get the gist of what you are trying to imply. Why is it so funny to you?

The Spurs have just played 7 games in 11 days with 2 sets of back-to-back games and one day game thrown in there for good measure. Yeah, the Spurs got the gravy schedule.

The Lakers have one of the hardest B2B schedules this year.
Not only once but TWICE, the Lakers play in San Antonio on the 2nd night of a B2B (1st in Houston both times).
That Celtics game was the 5th game in 7 days. The next time they play the Celtics, it will be the 2nd night of a B2B in Boston.
The schedule is what it is, Lakers have to play their game no matter what, I ain't making excuses for losses. I thought it was entertaining.
This is mostly for the conspiracy theorists that say the league is bending over backwards for the Lakers.

the cavs play in houston then play spurs next night, it's all because there was a flight from Houston to San Antonio that night. There are more flights from Houston to San Antonio than those from San Antonio to Houston.

[guess stern doesn't hate the Spurs afterall]
No... it's just that he hates SpursTalk worse. He personally made that part of the schedule to give whiny-assed, idiot Licker fans an excuse for losing to the Spurs. And he knew you couldn't resist posting about it here, in advance. The man is an evil genius.
All it proves is that everybody has figured out that the Lakers don't have a walk-over to the Finals this year, and the team they (and their fans) are most worried about wears Silver and Black.

Your takes are shit, your posts suck, and your Laker knee pads are getting worn out.

Yup. Good point. Every year, the Spurs have to deal with the longest road trip of any team in the league. So there shouldn't be too much bitching and moaning by other teams about when they have to play at the SBC Center.
As for Spurs fans thinking the Spurs are a better team... the regular season is bullsh!t. There are many variables that could decide one game, one way or the other. We'll have to wait for the Lakers/Spurs 7-game rematch to find out who the better team is this year.
Personally, I think the Spurs are a better team this year. They are certainly deeper. But the big thing will be health. Ginobil's ankle problems killed the Spurs against LA last year. If the Spurs' "Big 3" is healthy, it will be a hell of a series.
And it's nice to know this year that whoever comes out of the east - be it Cleveland or Boston - they will also hit the Finals a little battle weary, just as the Western Conference Champs have had to do every year for many years now.

Or the alternate reality is that the Spurs are just a better team despite the hype of James and Bryant when Duncan quietly just dominates just as much or more. At the end of the year we will see.

On Christmas day the Spurs played their 6 game in 9 days on the road against the Suns, who played on four days rest. I don't see the Spurs fans crying. :lol
