It's not the Spurs fault they cant play themselves on the second game of a back to back...
quite funny that the NBA make the cavs play the Rockets in Houston then the next night have to play the Spurs the next night in San Antonio
the lakers get the same treatment in march while Cavs get this in february.
Guess if Spurs win both games Vs Cavs and Lakers many Spurs fans will get confident thinking the Spurs are better than those two teams when in reality the Cavs and Lakers would only of lost due to it being a back to back
guess stern doesn't hate the Spurs afterall
It's not the Spurs fault they cant play themselves on the second game of a back to back...
it has nothing to do with stern and everything to do with the mouse and turner.
Agreed Lakers get screwed there but you guys do have the Alamo trip ...
well it has to do with the fact that they are traveling to texas, so might as well get houston and san antonio right after another
did you mean RODEO ROAD TRIP?
Rodeo Road Trip...and the Spurs should go 7-1 on the RRT this year...the Celtics are the only game I worry about.
i say that stretch is a make-up for the schedule they have played lately. like the suns being of since sun and the spurs playing something like 4 in 5 days. or 7 in 9 days or something like that.
Good. Everyone's schedule sucks at certain points, so you take the advantages when you get them. You still have to beat the guys in front of you.
Winners prevail, losers complain. Schedule sucks sometimes but they have to play thru it. They're paid millions to play so they should stay in shape and take care of themselves.
Well, things have to even out. Kobe and LeBron get handed every game.
nice...we need it since i think those top 3 team in the East really likes their matchups. We need some easy ones too once in a while![]()
Agreed!!!

Its not that unusual to play back to backs against 2 home state teams. I don't get the gist of what you are trying to imply. Why is it so funny to you?
The Spurs have just played 7 games in 11 days with 2 sets of back-to-back games and one day game thrown in there for good measure. Yeah, the Spurs got the gravy schedule.

14 of 17 games on the road and then the spurs come back home for dallas, portland, and cleveland. Yeah the nba is really helping out the spurs...![]()
Accoring to my predictions, Spurs sure lose a lot.
The Lakers have one of the hardest B2B schedules this year.
Not only once but TWICE, the Lakers play in San Antonio on the 2nd night of a B2B (1st in Houston both times).
That Celtics game was the 5th game in 7 days. The next time they play the Celtics, it will be the 2nd night of a B2B in Boston.
The schedule is what it is, Lakers have to play their game no matter what, I ain't making excuses for losses. I thought it was entertaining.
This is mostly for the conspiracy theorists that say the league is bending over backwards for the Lakers.
Yeah sure. The NBA looks out for us every season. Thats what they do. hahaha
the cavs play in houston then play spurs next night, it's all because there was a flight from Houston to San Antonio that night. There are more flights from Houston to San Antonio than those from San Antonio to Houston.
Guess you never look ahead in the schedule, The_Game. Putz.
[guess stern doesn't hate the Spurs afterall]
No... it's just that he hates SpursTalk worse. He personally made that part of the schedule to give whiny-assed, idiot Licker fans an excuse for losing to the Spurs. And he knew you couldn't resist posting about it here, in advance. The man is an evil genius.
All it proves is that everybody has figured out that the Lakers don't have a walk-over to the Finals this year, and the team they (and their fans) are most worried about wears Silver and Black.
