For $150-$1300? No way. Love you David, but the basketball Hall of Fame can suck my balls. I went to Cooperstown for the induction of Nolan Ryan and didn't pay a cent to watch it; my brother got autographs from Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, and about 30 other all-time greats and didn't pay a cent. The only thing I ever paid in Cooperstown was the $8 or so to get into the building.

If I had the expendable income, I would totally do it...

I would only go to an induction if I were personally invited by the player to be there.
Otherwise I am content to watch it on television or read about it in the paper the next day, depending on who it is.

I would prefer just the upper deck seat for $150, but as it was sold out in seconds due to MJ's part in the evening, I had to to it for the $1,000.
Shitty thing is that this is taking place out of the season, so it's just a round trip from Amsterdam to Springfield without any Spurs games.

It is a lot of money and hell no I ain't rich, but people who know me know I gots to be there to witness the cherry on the top after being there when the circle became full in 2003.

Just hoping to find somebody in here who also would want to create the time, money, dedication to team up with at the Hall.

Dude, you went to the Finals in 03? Sweet. Wish I could have been at David's last game; I was in the house for his first though, which was incredible.

The Spurs should do a big ceremony this season to celebrate David's HOF induction, for all the fans who can't afford the $1000 + air to go see him get inducted. I'd love to go to Springfield to make sure David gets the ovation he deserves, but there's no way I'm paying the basketball HOF $1000 with the way it treats the NBA like some impure form of basketball when it's clearly the best league the sport has ever had.
