For Mr. Robinsonīs Hall-of-Fame induction in Springfield @ September 11 2009.
If so, please do let me know?
$150 tickets for upper level seating are sold out.
VIP packages for $1,000 and 1,300 are available.
so there's no wonder it sucks.![]()
The whole fan experience thing ainīt.
You going Alamo?
to you!
Stupid question really![]()
What comes in the VIP package?
Dude, I hope you're rich cuz that sounds like a colossal waste of money to me!![]()
Nobody really asked you, did they?
If dude has the money, then go for it.
You're going to be there? Wow- how cool! Have a great time and safe trip!
Like Bowie and Miles?![]()
For $150-$1300? No way. Love you David, but the basketball Hall of Fame can suck my balls. I went to Cooperstown for the induction of Nolan Ryan and didn't pay a cent to watch it; my brother got autographs from Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, and about 30 other all-time greats and didn't pay a cent. The only thing I ever paid in Cooperstown was the $8 or so to get into the building.
If I had the expendable income, I would totally do it...
I would only go to an induction if I were personally invited by the player to be there.
Otherwise I am content to watch it on television or read about it in the paper the next day, depending on who it is.
I would prefer just the upper deck seat for $150, but as it was sold out in seconds due to MJ's part in the evening, I had to to it for the $1,000.
ty thing is that this is taking place out of the season, so it's just a round trip from Amsterdam to Springfield without any Spurs games.
It is a lot of money and no I ain't rich, but people who know me know I gots to be there to witness the cherry on the top after being there when the circle became full in 2003.
Just hoping to find somebody in here who also would want to create the time, money, dedication to team up with at the Hall.
Dude, you went to the Finals in 03? Sweet. Wish I could have been at David's last game; I was in the house for his first though, which was incredible.
DUDE So was i!!
The goggles!! He shoulda kept em!
James Worthy took them with him...
I'd love to go but I can't afford that....
I'll pay tribute to the Admiral in my own way...by posting on the forum and uttering all the FBombs's and other vulgarity he'll never utter![]()
The Spurs should do a big ceremony this season to celebrate David's HOF induction, for all the fans who can't afford the $1000 + air to go see him get inducted. I'd love to go to Springfield to make sure David gets the ovation he deserves, but there's no way I'm paying the basketball HOF $1000 with the way it treats the NBA like some impure form of basketball when it's clearly the best league the sport has ever had.
i would go if i werent stuck in Germany at that time.
