Kori and timvp control it. They've been giving out more lately with all the upgrades, people are going through it fast. :lol It used to be that when you ran out you'd get $25. when the next vBookie event came out.
Okay, I just tuned in...
Why are we getting killed and where is Parker?

This is the first year I've been able to watch the Spurs consistently with NBA League Pass broadband. Before that it was the odd game on P2P and I always followed the Spurs prior to that. I've followed almost every game on gamecast or audio pass when I couldn't watch it.
For the record I said Might be the first game I stop watching. Jordan would never accepted this crap and I don't either.
This is just a gutless effort tonight. Haven't seen a game this bad for a long time.
Wait, you're comparing yourself with Jordan???:lmao
I know you've stated multiple times after games you know you overreact, but dude, calm down. Wait the 3rd to run around like a headless chicken. I'm pissed too, but I have a handle on my Ime loathing.

The "super fans" on this board are fucking stupid. I don't understand how you can't fathom people voicing disappointment with this performance. This is not an entertaining basketball game. It's a team playing like shit. You need your head examined if you think somebody else is a bandwagon fan for not wanting to watch this mess.

Bruce needs to start again. We gotta go back to defense.
This more offense less defense approach could have 2001 like results with guys like Bonner going Steve Smith in the playoffs.
WE GOT TO GO BACK TO DEFENSE.

Maybe we are bitching like this because we are disappointed in our teams lack of play. We know they are much better then this but their effort is just pathetic... a blind man could even see that. I love the Spurs but that still does not mean I'm not blind.

Where did did I compare myself to Jordan???
I used him as an example of someone who wouldn't take a gutless effort like this out there. If you want to be the best you gotta look at what the best would do in this situation. This ain't it.
And if you know I overreact and get worked up why are you calling me out?
This is one of the worst games I've seen from the Spurs in years.
I like defense above offense so seeing guys like Bonner and Mason jr choke it up on defense has got me even madder. This is not the approach I want the team to take. Defense must come first.

If they can somehow find their defense, and their 3pt shooters can get hot, they can get the lead down to about 10-12 by the start of the 14th.
But if they continue to let Portland score at will and suck on the offensive end, this may turn into a 50 pt loss.

anybody watching on league pass realize how much the blazers announcers hate the spurs? they try not to show it but you can just tell, haha its funny.
nate and the blazers played this game like the game 7 of wcf and we approached it like a preseason game. props to them.

That may have been the theory, but I reckon right now Pop is thinking about reaching out to Horry. I really do.
Hairston and Hill are already quality defenders, but they both have a long way to go on offense. They have the tools, though. They both could get a lot better, which is kind of cool.

What do you guys think? Batum was the Spurs' first choice right?
Oh yeah, definitely. Their first choice was a back-up PG? I think not.
They tried the whole 'hide his examination results' trying to get teams to pass on Batum. Portland was too smart, and Houston too opportunistic.

basically you're taking the soft approach if you like taking this kind of beating. Is that the way you'd react if you were the one getting his ass handed to him? Just take it huh?
No dumbass, i'm not taking anything sitting on my ass in my room with nothing on the line, and unless you bet on the Spurs neither do you. So calm down, no point in losing it. And I don't give a fuck what Jordan would do. Our superstar is Timmy. I wish he had more fire, but that's just how he is.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this team. If Manu played tonight he would have easily scored 75 and this wouldn't be a blowout. And thank god the Spurs stopped being a defense-oriented team. That shit got old. This style is so much better. The Spurs are exactly where they want to be as a team and are still capable of beating any team on any night. Except for those nights when they play bad on purpose. This is obviously another one of those games. There's no fucking way in Hell the Spurs won't win the championship. It's an odd numbered year.

I've mentioned it numerious times in the game thread tonight, but do you guys remember the last time we had a more offense and less defense approach.
I'm thinking 2001 season when we were absolutely embarrassed by the Lakers in the playoffs. Straight after than season Pop signed Bowen and we became a defense first team.
With out defense could guys like Bonner and Mason Jr go Steve Smith in the playoffs? Right now Roger is looking kinda like Steve Smith in that he's a jump shooter only that isn't playing much defense. If you ask me Roger has regressed on defense. Is Pop getting on him too hard and yanking him too early the last few games?
I really think we need to just get back to defense first, maybe start Bruce again.

Ehh, I don't care much about this loss. It is worth noting that this is only our 2nd game where we lost because we didn't come out and play. January 16 at Philadelphia was our other loss that happened just because we didn't try. All other losses were because we didn't make our shots and the other team did.
