Loss to the Thunder at home when we must win to keep the home court advantage in the first 2 rounds is pathetic
The old Spurs team, that had Bruce Bowen playing defense, would have won this game in the 1st quarter.
Now Pop prefers to play O instead of D. If he keep this stupid thing is one and done

Yes...the tank philosophy would have at least given us a shot at Griffin. Now, we can prepare for a 1 and done playoff run, followed by some 2nd round picks to use on overseas players that will never put on a Spurs uniform...awesome.

I blame this loss on Pop. Weird bench rotations, no time out on that last possession. We're DOWN ONE with plenty of clock to run a play< I THINK YOU CAN RISK THEM SETTING UP THEIR DEFENSE when all we need is a layup!>
Manu, Tim, and Tony did what they could, but can he please tell his team to stop CHUCKING UP THREES :pctoss
and why Jacque Vaughn and not GEORGE HILL?? This is against frickin' young team!! :madrun

Pop make sure Tony can't compet for player of the month
in the first quater he don't see the ball Manu got it
when Tony can take 7-8 shoots in the last games, he take 2 shoot and 2 FT
in the third the first time he can shoot is after 7 minutes
Tony and Manu can't play together a long time they need the ball
in the 4th Tony wasn't in the game out of rythm

Another really ugly loss to the Thunder. Durant has a hell of a season, but we just should have got this one in SA, especially given the though stretch of losses we had to endure.
Again, we shot very poorly from downtown and needed Finley to get us back into a position to at least be able to win this one. Right now, this loss really hurts, and HCA isn't something you should be throwing away by losing against the OKC.

what did Parker say?
On national TV, Parker said he couldn't wait for the real season to start because he couldn't get himself hyped up for games against crappy teams like Oklahoma City. And he specifically said, Oklahoma City; probably not knowing that they've had our number recently...

I think we are seeing the beginning of the end of the championship Spurs team we've come to know and love over the past decade. This was a game they should have won easily. I love my Spurs, but I'll be surprised if they get past the first round, let alone make the WCF. This game was a litmus test for the Spurs, and they failed it miserably. Pop must be on drugs or something... :bang

This was unbelievable. It is only hours away from April. The Spurs aren't having these problems in December or January. It is hours away from April.
Then again, it is hours away from April Fool's day and the Spurs looked like Fools, especially the way we ended the game.
A collection of various posts after the loss follows.
You may add your complaint in this thread along with mine and others.
And there is no silver lining to take from this one. None at all.
This is how the world ends. Not with a bang, but with a whimper!
Here are our reactions to this loss :
*************************************************
Damn what the hell was that.. spurs playing like a rookie team to end the game. Bullshit coaching...
******************************************
This loss will fuck us big time on the standings
*************************************
Wow
No timeout? Seriously?
*****************************************
what was that at the end? they are so out of sync - they had no idea what to do with the ball
Spurs used to be so clutch - now they just suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
************************************************** ****
What happened. There was 35 seconds left and then after the update it was over.
Wow why didnt Pop call the time-out?!!
************************************************
N o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o o
fuck me!
I never will start this topic again
************************************************** ***
Good thing we didn't take a time out. Wouldn't want that badass OKC defense to get set against us.
*********************************************
Fin sucks fat ones! Go get a younger roster RC, OKL first win away against a winning team all year! LA-SA ROUND ONE PLAYOFFS.
************************************************
And we lost once again.
Wow.
So sad.
Maybe Pop will learn from this experience.
How humiliating.
************************************************** ***
8/25 - 32% for the game. Wonderful.
****************************************
I hear Jim Morrison...
"This is the end."
****************************************
There is plenty more to come...we will not have HCA when it is all said and done...
************************************
I was thinking.. maybe they are out of timeouts because if you had one, any sane person would call it.
********************************************
Is there ever such a thing as a moral loss? I didn't think so.
*************************************
Damn why no timeout.........
****************************************
This is depressing... fucking depressing.
***************************************
We might as well look foward to some off-season moves because this team is going nowhere. wow.
****************************************
fuck me in the fucking mother fucking goat ass, you poor excuse for a fucking playoff team stupid mother fucking choking ass mother fuck sticks!
***************************************
We're cruising for a first round out, unless Pop settles the rotation right now and somehow the guys pull it together in 8 games.
I'm out

Trying not to be an ass here, but when we were playing bad teams earlier a few games ago without Manu I said " If we need Manu to compete with these teams then we are in trouble."
Manu isn't 100%, but this is freaking OKC for christ sakes. Spurs have no excuse, NONE for this one.

Everybody just calm down and let's analyize what really happened here.
Simple really! Numero Uno---even though Durant beat us almost singlehandely in the last game in OKC, Pop the Great could not come up with a way to defend him tonight. Why? I don't think he gave a shit for some bizzare reason. Numero Dos---As has been his custom lately, Tim chose not to wake up until the second half when he finally got a little agressive offensively, but unfortunately he stayed asleep all night on defense. Suffice it to say there is something wrong with Tim's energy for a whole game, or maybe he, like Finley, Bowen, and Thomas, is just too old now. And finally, even though Pop had a hodge podge of players that had not played together in crunch time in a while and had not exhibited a whole lot of smarts for most of the game, the Great One decided there was no need for a time out to desgin a play just for Manu, who, when not hurt usually wins the game for us. This failure by Pop really surprises me because he is usually very good creating effective close out the game plays. Oh Well, I guess he did not give a shit about that either. Goodnight everyone, and I hope you do give a shit abour our Spurs!

I don't know about Friday, ask me about it. We lost to that team by 1 point. I see the spurs stealing that one, though. But for Sunday it's not looking good. Cavs are still hot at home. I hope you guys win so the Cavs go into a slump, which I dont really see happening, and the Lakers get it together for the last 8 games and finish at the top.
