Even if he had used Hill in this series since the beginning, this team still lacks that defensive identity of years past. As you can see, they just aren't very sharp on rotations, and that's simply chemistry and experience. If Pop had focused on defense since the beginning of the season, and used players such as Hill and Hairston, the Spurs would have a much better and reliable defense now.
