Sadly, we'll most likely be seeing JR Smith draining threes and doing chicken dances late in the forth with K-Mart thugging it up all night long.

If the Lakers aren't going to win this tonight they better be careful and at least keep it close. A blow-out by Denver will carry over to the next game regardless if it's at Staples. You really can't factor HCA with game 7's especially if the previous game was won outright. Player persona speaking, a team like Denver has the potential of "tuning-out HCA crowds. I really want to see the Lakeshow close this out. They need to.

That's actually not a bad group. Joey Crawford is definitely a homer ref, but he is the only ref that gives Kobe any kind of respect. And the other 2 aren't that "homerish" statistically.

How have the Lakers been at all lazy in this series?!?! They've fought hard in every game except maybe game four and even that game was competitive most of the way, Denver just ran up the score late. Denver has just played better for a lot of this series cause they're a good team. Give Denver some fucking credit, don't just act like the Lakers don't try whenever they don't win, that's bullshit. They are extremely guilty of that for a few quarters against Houston but other then that I don't think they've been "lazy" at all.

No the Lakers made a concerted effort to take what the DEN defense was giving them instead of letting Kobe force the issue. And it worked pretty good.

Switch to decaf. Jesus.

Denver IS a good team, but they're also wildly inconsistent, even when playing well. And, from what I've seen, L.A. has only been fully showing up for about every other game. The combination has kept this series tight. When L.A. fully shows up -- like in Game 5 -- Denver has to play a near perfect game. When L.A. plays like shit, Denver is guaranteed to dominate.

I think the Lakers have been lazy not just this series, but for the most of the playoffs. I despise the Lakers in any case, so fuck 'em. I hope Denver mops the floor with them tonight.

Lakers are going to have to win this game in spite of Derek Fisher.

He literally spots DEN about 5-10 pts a game with his horrific play. Why he sees a single minute on the floor is beyond me. He is the single worst starting PG left in the playoffs.

Good night Nuggets!

The Nuggets have a lot of talent...but do not make smart basketball plays when it really matters.

For example, Kenyon Martin killing a run by holding Sasha's leg. Sasha gets 2 free throws and pushes their lead back to 13.

In the Conference Finals and NBA Finals...the little plays matter because both teams are evenly matched or close to it. And the team's BBIQ has to be high.

The Nuggets have to get over that hump (not to self-destruct) in order to win a championship!!!

Yea they did, but the two franchises have obviously been going in different directions the last two years. Lakes have plenty of youth and should be serious championship contenders for the next 3-5 years. lol anyone that actually watched the NBA instead of the Lakers only this season knows that seeds 2-7 were pretty much equal and the only difference being home court advantage.

Manu also played half a season with us. If he did not play at all then the Spurs probably would not have finished anywhere near 3rd and maybe not have even made the playoffs. Sure we had Tony and Tim in the playoffs, but the rest of the team was not very good at all. Tim was definitely not even close to 100% either.

Credit the Lakers for stepping up. They present a lot of match up problems for most teams, but the Nuggets are more vulnerable than most. They still could have won the series, but they waste too many possessions with poor shot choices and are pretty soft up front. Nobody is going to outscore the Lakers. You have to be physical with them and slow it down. While the Nuggets have the personnel, they didn't have the discipline to carry out this strategy. They also got hardly any statistical advantage at the point guard position. You have to make the Lakers pay here to have any chance. I don't think the Cavs, or Magic have any better chance.
