Alright everyone pray for my fucking X-Box 360. I got the the 3 red rings of death last month, sent it in for repair, got it back a week after I sent it in, and now I'm getting 2 red rings blinking on it (which means overheating). Everytime I play a game, it lets me play for about 10 mins then shuts off and is blinking the 2 red lights. Can anyone help? :lol. Any ideas? I'm already planning to send it back in but I dont know. It sucks because I had just taken the Nuggets spot in this league!

I will play at least 1 game tonight. I was under the impression we only had to play 2-3 games a week, and I played 2 last week. This is my plan at least until we reduce quarter times substantially, 11 minutes is way too long still. The q's need to be 8, max if we are going to play more than a few games a week. I dunno about others but I can't stay interested in a game that long, especially a meaningless preseason game

Luckily I think we might be able to keep this (the 2k league) an ST tradition for a while coming, especially as we get more and more efficient ... next season we're gonna need to move up to 2k10 though. (probably)

that's the problem here, commitment, and that was the whole point of running a Preseason.

looking at the 2ksports.com site i noticed not even a half of us have played more then 4 games in Preseason. i've played 5 so far and have tried to play more just to be told "not right now" while that person turns around and goes and plays a regular xbl 2k game. if you're both online then play your games!

other then all that bs i am all up for scrapping this Preseason because it isn't working at all. i am also fine with 8 min qtrs even though i prefer a longer game per qtr. settings are fine so the only thing we need to do now is come up with a draft date for Season2 and a time we can all agree upon.

here's my suggestion only because of how my own schedule is. i can draft any day friday to monday after 2pm CST. let me know all your schedules and i will find a time for us to draft and a date to do so as well.

as for the draft itself, well i had a few ideas which will probably be shot down. i will post my ideas in a minute when i can clearly state them for you all. give me a minute.

i'm not trying to make myself better compared to the rest of the league, not at all! i am trying to get away from the all out all-star teams that are in all leagues online. i could care less if i lose every game in this league as long as i feel the playing field has been leveled out somewhat. it's not that those who are awesome aren't still going to be awesome but it's the fact that no one gets better when we're all running 85+ OVR for all 12 players per team.

and it's not about having a decent team, it's about having a realistic team. at least that's what i am going for... i think it's weak when we are all running all-star teams and not necessarily relying on guys 6-12 but instead running our starters ragged because we can.

and dannyt if you don't like what i am trying to do here, well there's a simple solution for you... stay out of this thread and don't signup to play in a league i create because you will always find something to bitch about. you're the last person who should be bitching about anything considering the lack of sportsmanship you have shown not only to me but to my buddy maddsurf(ie; quitting & running through the menus annoying your opposition).

^^ I agree 2k rules. I've played around ten 82 game seasons+playoffs in association mode. It never gets "old" for me. But thats with 24 minute games.

I honestly stopped playing 12 min quarters after about 4 games in Nba Live 2003. Good people will score 200 points on you, and you can't say thats realistic. The most realistic scores, player energies, etc occur around 6min q's IMO.

i dont have computer right now because i broke my charger-but im always down for a game but after playing couple games i cant catch my opponents.Manu4tree im waiting for my ass beating.In terms of the draft i cant do it on fridays and saturdays US.Thats my only request.
Im all for smaller league but with commited players.
