I don't think you realize the Alamodome hasn't been shut down, it is still used a basketball venue..NCAA final fours have been held there frequently. The city has had talks about it being used during the NBA Finals. You can't say that about the forum.

Hell of a place. I was in there not long ago at a boat show and I was imagining a b-ball game being played there. Wow!:wow If I am not mistaken, wasn't it one of the loudest places to play in during the Spurs years there? AT&T is nice and all but I was talking with a Spurs buddy here and he told me that building the AT&T hurt the average Joe-Spur fan because the AT&T could only house so many.

Anyway, sorry for getting off topic. The Dome is still a pretty nice venue as is the Forum or as I remember it back in the day....The Fabulous Forum by old Chicky himself (Chick Hearn). :toast
