Funny how someone repping the Raiders would make a comment about Denver's draft record.
Please, enlighten me - what about Denver's draft record? Ryan Clady alone trumps anything the Raiders have drafted in the last 10 years.

Ain't gonna lie, Clady's a beast. Look at the defensive track record, though. That team hasn't drafted a defensive player worth a lick in a long ass time.
And just cause my team sucks doesn't mean I can lol at other people? a lot of Spurs fnas lol'd at the Lakers in 2008 even they beat the Spurs.

I'm telling you right now, despite all the scoring records and despite what Cassel did and despite everything that appears to be in his favor, he was an absolutely awful Offensive Coordinator. Absolutely freaking awful. I hated his offensive style the entire time, even as they were blowing teams out on a weekly basis.

I'll trust my own eyes and the 180 I've seen in the way training camp has been conducted in Denver compared to years past. The guy is a real coach, despite what some may think of his age or his resume. The staff is well-rounded and the players are coming together. Yes, they'll have growing pains and may end up being a 5-11 team, but that beats treading water with Shanahan/Slowick for another season. I'll also defer to Adam Schefter and his friends that think McDaniels is a helluva coach and has a very bright future in the NFL. It just sucks that his first year is going to be marred by the antics of Cutlerfucker and BM.
What didn't you like about the offense? They beat teams with big plays, smart running, dink-and-dunk, whatever was needed. They used every tool available and would attack the weakness of the defense. Yes, they fell short in the Super Bowl, but they were a lucky Tyree catch away from winning that game. That offense was one that will be remember for years.

I've never been a Pats fan, but I give credit where credit is due. 50 TD passes don't happen by accident.
By smart running, I mean getting efficient play out of 4 strings of RBs. When one would go out, the run game didn't take a hit because they were all proficient and capable enough to run the offense. He may have seemed a bit too pass happy, but their running game flies under the radar when talking about the offense. They were 13th in rushing in 07, 6th last year.

I'm going to give the guy a chance. Shanahan was a tired act by the end of his tenure. That, and he was dead-set in bringing back that faggot Bob Slowick to run that abortion he called a defense. Add to the fact that Shanahan couldn't pick out a defensive player to save his life and I'm alright with his dismissal. If McDaniels shits the bed in his first couple seasons, then I'll be fair and agree that he be shipped out. But, until then, I think he's busting his ass to put out a good product and I understand that they're in the vaunted "rebuilding" process.
Damn, I should hang out on the NFL boards more often. I can talk NFL more than the NBA/Mavs/Spurs anyday. I love this game!

I'm not saying he's totally responsible for Marshall (let's face it, he is an ass all by himself), but when you trade away the closest person to him on the team (who was a little bitch, but also happened to be a franchise QB.), shoot his trade request down, and tell him he's not getting a raise, (which he actually deserves) you can't be to surprised that he's not going to be excited about playing for you.

If he doesn't have run-ins with the police 13 times in 3 years and doesn't make an ass out of himself, he'd have been paid already. Denver should have no issue with paying Marshall, but they also know they're 1 incident away from him serving an 8-game suspension. The front office was taking a stance of "play out your contract, keep your nose clean and you'll see your money". Why was it so hard for Marshall to follow this? Boldin is in the same situation in Arizona, but isn't being a cock. He knows he'll get his money. Marshall, though, is slowly fucking himself.
You need to keep an open mind with McDaniels. He's not a bad coach and will surprise a lot of people. But understand he's trying to build up both sides of the ball, incorporate a number of new ideas and philosophies and clean up some of the mess (read - coddled, bitch players) Shanahan left behind. The sky isn't falling in Denver, contrary to what some may think. They'll be alright.

ENGLEWOOD, CO—First-year coach Josh McDaniels took some time out from training camp to familiarize himself with the Broncos' competition Tuesday, spending the afternoon on the league's official website to see what other teams were members of the National Football League. "There are way more than I thought there'd be," said McDaniels, who was "shocked" to learn that franchises calling themselves the Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, and San Diego Chargers were not only in the NFL, but were actually in the same "division" as the Broncos. "I'd heard of the Steelers, obviously, but other than that, I thought it was just us and the Chiefs. Ooh, here's one called 'the Titans!'" When informed that there was an entirely separate conference called the NFC, McDaniels told reporters in the room to "get out of town."

A fucking pine tree could have been the offensive coordinator of the 07 Patriots and still put up record breaking numbers. On top of that, a pine tree wouldn't have thrown a hissy fit at Brady & Moss during halftime of the Super Bowl, refusing to adjust the gameplan in the Super Bowl that scored all of 14 points.
And then the next year you insert a guy who's never started an NFL game in his life and they go on to a have a top 5 offense.
