He wants to be a Cowboy.![]()
Go ahead and throw the 1st and 4th Denver is asking for.
With the Broncos draft track record, it wouldn't mean much anyways.
Funny how someone repping the Raiders would make a comment about Denver's draft record.
Please, enlighten me - what about Denver's draft record? Ryan Clady alone trumps anything the Raiders have drafted in the last 10 years.
Why? He already knows what it feels like to play .500 football and not win a playoff game.
Ain't gonna lie, Clady's a beast. Look at the defensive track record, though. That team hasn't drafted a defensive player worth a lick in a long ass time.
And just cause my team sucks doesn't mean I can lol at other people? a lot of Spurs fnas lol'd at the Lakers in 2008 even they beat the Spurs.
That's on Shanahan, though. The guy couldn't draft a defensive player worth a to save his life. I'll give you that much. But on the offensive side, they've fared well.
And, actually, Shanahan got one right when he picked up Darrent Williams in the draft. It's just a shame the aforementioned Brandon Marshall had to go and get him killed.
lol Mcdaniel is more like it. that guy was such a ty offensive coordinator, I love that he's going to turn the Broncos into one of the worst teams in the league.
Why would the Cowboys need him? Miles Austin >> Every Receiver Alive
a ty o cordniator? are you serious...look at what they did when he was there
mike did suck at drafting d players...except for dj williams ..they will turn it around with josh mcdaniels
lol raiders
lol al davis best owner in professional sports
but i do agree...marshall is a dumbass
but i do hope he stays on the team...if he leaves there is no way the broncs will be even mediocre
Corky from Life Goes On could have been Offensive Coordinator of the 07 Patriots, and they would have scored more than 14 pts in the Super Bowl.
that's what happens when the O-Coordinator decides that the best way to defend a heavy pass rush is to have Brady sit and wait for Moss to run 50 yards downfield and then try to bomb it every time.
You're seriously trying to discredit what he did in New England? Could Corky have lead Cassell to do what he did last season? He had a hand in the NE offense for more than just the 07 season. The guy is a good coach.
I'm telling you right now, despite all the scoring records and despite what Cassel did and despite everything that appears to be in his favor, he was an absolutely awful Offensive Coordinator. Absolutely freaking awful. I hated his offensive style the entire time, even as they were blowing teams out on a weekly basis.
Hiring Josh McDaniels is one of the biggest mistakes in Broncos franchise history, mark my words right now.
Then maybe Brady should have grown a pair, told him to off, and call his own plays, like Peyton Manning would do to his coordinators.
Manning >>>>>>> Brady
He was suspended earlier today for conduct detrimental to the team.
I'll trust my own eyes and the 180 I've seen in the way training camp has been conducted in Denver compared to years past. The guy is a real coach, despite what some may think of his age or his resume. The staff is well-rounded and the players are coming together. Yes, they'll have growing pains and may end up being a 5-11 team, but that beats treading water with Shanahan/Slowick for another season. I'll also defer to Adam Schefter and his friends that think McDaniels is a uva coach and has a very bright future in the NFL. It just sucks that his first year is going to be marred by the antics of Cutler er and BM.
What didn't you like about the offense? They beat teams with big plays, smart running, dink-and-dunk, whatever was needed. They used every tool available and would attack the weakness of the defense. Yes, they fell short in the Super Bowl, but they were a lucky Tyree catch away from winning that game. That offense was one that will be remember for years.
Brady's style has gotten him 4 SB appearances and 3 rings. I'll take that any day over Peyton's " off, I'll call my own plays" style that has netted him 1 ring and about 50 chokejobs.
LOL before McDaniels was hired I'm sure you had this same opinion. I'm sure it wasn't "those overrated piece of Patriots got exposed for the overrated pieces of they are". And "smart running" is just about the last thing I'd ever ascribe Josh McDaniels.
McDaniels was an awful O-coordinator?
What does it take to a good one then?
Or even average at that rate?
